I've got some questions for you guys with the velocity deck.
Did you have any issues with the grub screws being stripped or cheap quality?
Is the including Allen wrench junk or does it fit the grub screws good?
Do the airflow holes line up with your coils?

My buddy needs a tank and I'm gonna sell him my aromamizer tomorrow and use my rda for a few days. I'm gonna order the velocity deck aromamizer 6ml tank from eciggity with some fused Clapton wire but wanted to know about the questions I asked above first. Thanks in advance everyone

The grub screws are good, a bit tight fitting the wrench in the hole the first time though, it gets better (it's the plating on the wrench at fault)
I set mine up real simple, dual 26 gauge Kanthal, 2.7 mm ID, 7 wraps, 0.41Ω. It works fantastic and did not leak when vertical but leaked fiercely when laid on it's side.

I haven't had any issues with any of those on mine.
Thankyou for the info. I've really been thinking about getting another aromamizer or getting the mutation x rta but I can't decide. Not enough info out about the mutation x rta. Sure there are reviews but I haven't seen any yet where they try to push the wattage on it.

I've got to Vape at 80+ watts for it to be satisfying. I know the aromamizer can do this, I've used it up to 125 watts before but I have no clue about the mutation x rta

What do you guys think of the mutation x rta? My local shop has it for $29.99 and I've got a 10% off coupon to use their. Thinking about trying it out, its so new that if it doesn't work out I'm sure I could sell it fast

Just got one today. With that airflow and wicking I'm sure it can push the power. I'm happier with the Aromamizer because of all the different builds I can put in it, but the MT is a nice tank.

I never do any vertical coils so I don't know what I'm missing out on. I always used the 3 post deck on the aromamizer and the MX rta looks like I could get some pretty big builds in it easily.

I'm going to go and check one out tomorrow in person.

What have you done with the MX rta build wise and how much power have you pushed thru it? Also has it leaked on you?

I haven't had enough time to do much with it yet :). My first build is twisted 28g, and I'm only running it at 35W. No leaking so I'm happy about that as I was a bit concerned. Get your coils long enough to span the giant airholes and put your entire wick tails into the slots.

I'll try that 28/32 Clapton wire I made the other night next.

That's what I'll be using is the same sized Clapton wire.
How is the flavor and airflow on it?

Airflow is huge. I put in a juice that's new to me, and very fresh. Yet, the flavor is good so I think when I try another juice I'll be very happy.

I know their rda's are wide open if you want. I'm thinking with the way the wicking is and the airflow that it should be able to handle some wattage.

How does the drip tip compare in size on the MX rta vs the aromamizer? The stock drip isnt wide enough for me on the aromamizer so I use it with no drip tip

I didn't like the MT drip tip. Its too short to me. But, I don't like the Aromamizer ones either because I think they cut flavor.

I really can't imagine a tank being better than the aromamizer. I love this thing. Hell, I may say goodbye to rdas now :)
Since I got my aromamizer I never use my rda except for testing new juice I make. I guess if anything I just want to try something new.

The deck looks great on the MX rta but once again I've been using the 3 post deck on the aromamizer. I've got a velocity rda so I know building on that is super simple

Well just checked it out in person and thank god I didn't just order it blind online.

Yeah the build deck looks cool but its a pita to take apart, the screws in the deck were half stripped new out of the package.

The threads are really fine on the deck section and would strip very easy if your not paying attention.

Looks like I'm buying a velocity deck for my aromamizer. Thanks everyone

The MT? Mine is pretty nice. I am going to replace the screws though on my next build, but I do that a lot.

I did a quick first build on my Aromamizer yesterday, perhaps I'll have time to get something better going on in there tonight before I go to work. I works really good but I suspect that I can do better on the next build, I'll probably use TC wire instead of Kanthal.
