Looks like the post holes go all the way through and be prepared to debur the whole thing. You can see the poor milling in the pics....just sayin.

The pics aren't big enough for me to tell on my tablet, but when the authentic is reasonably priced, I buy the authentic. However, for some, even this one is more than they can spend right now so I don't mind if people discuss the clones in the thread, if others don't mind. Never really felt like I had any right telling peeps how to spend their money :)

And I'm kind of hoping FT will get MT and Crius clones so that hopefully there will be replacement glass :D

I'm on another fill with the same build. I have dumped over 30 mls in this thing and the flavor just gets better and better. It will be so sad when I dry burn and rewick. It's not a Mephisto RDA flavor but it's dang close and so much less hassle. 6mls is 18 holes of golf btw...

Is that the 26/36 you posted in the coil porn thread? Mind posting a pic of how you wicked it when you get a chance? Also, that's 3mm diameter looks like? What are you running it at watts wise?

I'm curious if anyone can comment on builds that improve airflow? Do verticals increase the airflow at all? Coil placement? I put in some simple 24ga, 2.5 diameter horizontals in as soon as I received it. My deck lines up perfectly and my coils line up with the airflow holes (heighth as well). I'm not using the vape band but the velocity posts block a lot of the indirect airflow. Loving this thing, just trying to get a little more airflow out of it.

Yes. I drop vertical wicks in, up and down. A short haircut on top and touching the deck on the bottom still can see the two juice holes on either side of the wick. Right now .5 ohms at 37 Watts on a SIG endless flavor.
Less wick greatly increases air flow. Wick inside coil is semi snug but will gently pull through.

Oooook. This thing is still kickin ash. After I refilled :( It failed my overnight laying on the nightstand test. As my Billow always did. I've heard both leaks, some leakage, and never leaks even when laying down.

Can some of the never leaks even when laying down folks chime in on their wicking method please? And of course if any and all pros can tell me what needs to be done for little to no leaking? I'd really appreciate it.

I thought I'd read that good sized ends of horizontal wicks covering the 2 holes on each side would do it. No?

Mine never leaks, I make my wicks pretty thick, VERY snug in the coils. I also cut the tails to the length of the outside of the base and fluff them as much as possible and I tuck them into the well with as little compression as possible, I also wet my wicks after I tuck them in, not before. I basically have so much cotton in the wells it's somewhat difficult to fit it all in there. After wetting the wicks I stick the flathead side of my old Lemo screwdriver underneath my coil to make sure there's a little bit of space between the wick and the bottom of the coils. I believe that's all I do. Hope that helps.

Awesome! Thanks so much. I'm not using quite that much cotton. Don't fluff. Or the screwdriver check. I'll give it a shot

More cotton more leaking plus less airflow.

Not from my experience. Don't even see how the first point makes sense. More cotton would keep excess juice from finding a way out of the well. And depending on what deck you're using and your airhole placement I could see it inhibiting airflow. But, from my experience I can see through to the other side on both holes with minimal obstructions. *shrugs*

When I did it like this, I got dry hits. I like to leave the holes clear and have never had a leak. I put my wicks kind of right beside the holes barely touching the deck.

I got dry hits on my first build without fluffing but the second time I actually fluffed the cotton out by using my old Lemo screwdriver to make sure every little strand wasn't touching another and now I don't get dry hits ever, I'm like 20 rewicks in. But I usually don't go over 75w with a 0.32 horizontal Clapton build, comes out to 4.5v.

I only barely fluff and tuck my cotton into the edge kind of after the juice holes in between the hole and the wall and it works great. Dry hit free even when chain vaping one after the other at 75w. This tank is a beast.

THIS ^^^^^^worked perfect for me! Airflow is still great and I just taped those fluffy tails down onto the deck paying no attention to covering the holes or not. Vaping great all day and purposely laying it down all day. Nary a drop of a leak! Thanks ismokeinbinary!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone tried dual micro-coils. I mean proper micro-coils of less than 2mm diameter and at least 10 wraps?

I did duals using 28awg on a 1.5mm with 11 wraps coming out to 0.7ohm total and using on a mech.

The problem is the vapor is too cool, even when using only 2 air-holes. Maybe quad micro's will work better?

The only real solution I found to turn up the heat is to twist the base, so the air-holes see through to each other. This way you don't get direct air-flow to the coils and it heats up the coils a bit, but it still doesn't have that punch as a 0.2 ohm build would.

I've done quad horizontals, 2.5mm, 27g. It was a great vape, but a bit of a pain getting my wick tails arranged on the deck. I left a long tail on each coil, one on the left and one on the right, and cut the other ends on each coil short. I just now removed that build to try dual vertical Claptons.

So far all my builds are giving an excellent vape, but I've used 2.5mm coils on all of them.

Still lov'n the 3mm version. My wife is using a Kayfun v4 now. She made the mistake of trying a toot on the Aromamizer and now says the Kayfun just isn't cutt'n it. LOL, She's loved it for a long time. LOL!!!

We live on a fixed income, and have a lot of hospital trips. She said she would love to have one, but didn't' want to spend the money. I told her of the new clone, but not knowing a thing about it. She ask if I wold order it for her, and sooooo- I just did.

I'm running mine with 8-9 wraps of 28ga twisted on vertical coils, .48 ohm, at 35 watts with fluffed tails in the well. No "Leaks"! Not right after filling, not when lying it down. NONE Period. And with very good flavor!
Love this Addy!!!

A little worried about the clone not having peek, and the thru holes. We'll see.

Did 5 builds so far, this is the best I've gotten staying above 0.3 ohms for safety and because I have only 20A batteries.

DUAL - PARALLEL COILS on Velocity Deck in vertical setup

28 guage
2.5mm diameter
9 wraps
0.4 ohms
10.5 amps @ 44.1 watts ON 4.2v @ 0.4 ohm
12 amps @ 50.4 watts ON 4.2v @ 0.35 ohm

So, you could cruise by on a 20A battery, which are cheaper.
Vapor is slightly warmer than body temp,
flavor is "slightly" muted, but very much there (this could be vapors tongue, since I've been vaping on this same flavor for 2 weeks now),
clouds are thick and heavy,
3mg nic would be best for this build (if you chain vape).
