I've had mine for months, never leaked a drop while laying on it's side for extended periods of time. Leaking is a wicking issue.
The leaking issue is subjective imo, based on your desired vaping power range. If I put the wick tails directly over the juice holes I can vape at low power with no leaking. If I keep the wick tails partially covering the juice holes I can vape at high power levels but it leaks laying down.
If you have found a way to wick this thing to vape at 80w+ with no leaking please show us how.
My quad coil build on the 3 post deck because a wick is on top of each juice hole. I did take it up to 100W, but I prefer 50-60.
I can see that. Maybe 25w per coil is doable with the wick tails over the holes. Perhaps it would even keep up with chain vaping at 100w. Dunno. Don't run verts but I'm always interested in learning new ways to wick for power. I run 24g 2.75-3mm spaced horz duals in the aromamizer and all my rdas. With those builds flavor is best above 40w per coil. Any less than 40w per coil just doesn't cut it, for me anyway.
I just can't vape over 60W and enjoy it. I have an MT build running at 50W that someone else used and is running at 125W. I also like long draws though.
Max draw length for me is about 3sec. I set everything up that way for work. I usually have tools in my hands, or they're dirty, so when I have a chance to vape it's 1,2,3,4,5 3sec vapes in a row and back to work. A dryhit nightmare if not wicked right.
I almost bought the Mutation RTA but opted for the Aromomizer. I should still get one to try it out. I should get Crius too.
I draw 5-6s over 50W, and longer on lower powered attys.
Here's my standard Aromamizer build. 24g KA1 2.78mm spaced coil wound on a 6-32 machine screw. 90w chaining is no sweat with this build.
At this coil height the bottom of the coils line up with the center of the airholes. In this position the coils gunk up perfectly even from left to right and top to bottom; important for longest time between dryburns and rewicking.
This build will vape at 125w with afc wide open and vapes great at 80-95w with afc closed down a smidge but is not great for power levels under 80w. For lower power levels 50-80w 26g works better.

Watts is subjective. I have a 0.32 ohm setup and I vape at 75w normally, but I can take it to 100w on my mod and it holds up fine and pushes 5.6v, although the tank gets pretty hot. The higher ohms you go the less wattage it takes. So yeah, on my 0.32 ohm Clapton build I can take it to 100w and never get a leak. But if I built a 0.6 ohm build I would be pushing some serious voltage at 100w, and could, possibly, get dry hits. I haven't tried higher ohm builds yet, but when my black aromamizer gets here I'll test a few builds on it. I just think my wicking method is perfect, for me at least.
I'm about to head to work, but my black aromamizer is supposed to be here tomorrow, according to USPS, and I'll throw a Clapton build in it and take pics of my wicking process for everyone. I've put it into words a few times in this thread and I know I helped one guy out like 25-30 pages ago lol.
Yep, all good except this:
"The higher ohms you go the less wattage it takes".
That only holds true if you get the higher ohms by using thinner wire (less mass and heat capacity) but greater heat flux.
Example: A 10wrap 1 ohm coil will require more wattage to drive than a 5wrap .5 ohm coil of equal gauge.
Claptons fall into the high heat capacity, high thermal mass, low heat flux category and have to be driven with lots more power than my 24g coils to put out equal vapor. So at equal wattages the 24g coils require more juice flow to keep from dryhitting. Just sayn.

I don't have a rolling machine either. I don't even have an Aromamizer yet, ha ha. But when it does arrive and I can get some measurement, I'll be looking at ss tubing, brass tubing, and maybe some gold wedding bands as possible Aromamized AFC bands. The thing about a gold or silver ring is I can have it sized by a jeweler. Then just heat it up so that it expands enough to slip onto the atty. Then when it cools it should fit perfectly. But if sizing a ring is too expensive I will just cut it and snap it on the mod.
I like the new delrin drip tips the black Arom's come with... they have the spit blocker like the stainless ones, but a quick shave with a blade and it comes right off, so you have a delrin tip that perfectly matches the diameter of the base.
