60W may not be enough on the SX M Class.

On the dual battery VF SX I get the slashed line, indicating too much batt sag, on wattage I normally use for my 200's. Can vape as low as 40W on the 200's but get a "whimpy" vape on SX's. (Not a swipe, just the facts.)

Congrats on your purchases!
I fully agree on this. I'm feeling the lack of power running the rdta on the sx mini or on a single battery.

Anxiously waiting for the arrival of reuleaux.

So once I get a new laptop, I'm saving up to get a DNA 200 device and I've decided that this will be the tank I get for the device.

I should say that I started reading page 1 of this thread a couple days ago and have just finished. I read every post. But I still have a couple questions.

I have my one build. It's easy for me...

24ga kanthal A1 (Vapowire), 1/8 diameter screwdriver to coil the wire, 5/4 wrap, dual-coil, Koh Gen Do cotton

(Though my most recent build [done yesterday] was 5/6 wraps... came out to 0.2 ohms.)

I'm simple, and I like simple. :D

Anyways... would that work on this aromamizer? I currently build on a Mutation X V4 RDA, with the 4-hole posts. It'd been a while since I built on a 3-post deck, and I've never built on a v-deck. So all of that looks interesting. I'm not 100% sure if I'm looking forward to going back to a 3-post deck (I never liked having to fit two leads through one negative post... it took a while to figure out how to keep a short from happening... then I got the 4-post and I've never looked back), but I'm definitely fascinated by the v-deck.

I'll get both decks anyways because that's the kind of person I am... :D

And how is wicking with Koh Gen Do?

And finally... this question is somewhat off-topic, but what's the best site for ordering pre-made wire (twisted, clapton, and others; of different materials and gauges)*, various wicking materials, and so on? Is there one that has the largest selection, or do I have to shop around, as it were?

The band doesn't bother me at all, to be honest, and I think I'll get over the air holes not lining up (I'll bet they address this with V2, anyways).

-----------------------------------------------
*It's a miracle I managed to get that simple wrap down. The few times I've tried to go more complicated (sleeper coils, parallels, twisted), I've managed to somehow break (or, in the case of my second attempt at a sleeper coil, melt) the wire every single time. It's easier for me to just purchase what's already pre-made.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned or not, but vape nw has dropped the price again. It is now 24.95. I paid 44.99 for my first one.

I recd. one from them that I paid 27.+ for and is Genuine.

I just posted my review of the Aromamizer at vapenw. Should be up tomorrow.

Love these things!

I think the SXM or the SXML is about as good as it gets with a single 18650 battery. With dual heavy wire, dual twisted, and dual clapton type coils, you are in a different power class requirement where the 200w devices will make a big difference and shine in performance. I am currently not building for such requirements since I know it won't work well, but when my DNA200 Reuleaux finally arrives, I will also make and use such builds. I don't think all the time, but at least I will have the option when needed. I treat it like having a high performance car. There are times when you are burning rubber, and other times where you are just cruising along. Most of us here have many mods and attys and don't always have our foot on the pedal but do enjoy it at times.

With all due respect @JimScotty0, you were correct until you made the analogy.

Having owned a high-performance car, just traveling to the supermarket is a pleasure when compared to a 4-cylinder boxcar, say, a Beetle...owned one of d'em too.

I am not dissing the 350J. As I mentioned, I have both an SXM and a VF SX. They each have a place. That place is not dual Nifethal 52 coils in the range of 0.13-0.17 at 75-100 watts.

People always get in trouble when they analogize cars to vaping. [emoji41]

Well, I tried. But you get the point and I would never be satisfied with a Beetle just in case I had to punch down on the pedal.

some pill bottles have rayon on top of the pills .. test it with a lighter ..burns it is rayon ..melts it is not!
tried it a long time ago all I remember is that it worked ok . still have a big box full of hemp fiber when that was the thing . will look to find my rayon again and compare mor closely to the f5 cotton I am using now.
thanks for the wicking tips to try .
How is f5 working for you?

Does it wick ok? And what do you mean by fluffing?
the wicking in the aromamizer is very good to begin with , never had any problems with any wicking materials like hemp or different cottons . never a dry hit or flooding .
by fluffing I mean ...it is a more dense string so I pulled it apart sideways and opening up the dense parts .and then very lighly rolled it again . not done any side by side wicking tests . also I vape at 20 to 22 watts . single coils.
for that it wickes plenty . I like that it is pure unbleached cotton . so for 100 watts chainvaping ..just don't know.

Sorry for all the damn questions. But how have you guys done with heavier vg juices? Just got 230mls of 85/15.

With thicker juices, cold temps or higher vaping wattages it helps to draw a little harder and close down the airflow control a little to help pull more juice in from the tank. Wicking a little heavier helps too.
And you can't ask too many questions.

settling down to the kiss method !
the last s in kiss means stupid ! build two identical coils one with 28 k a1, the other with 4 wire twisted 34 g k a1.
which is is about the same thicknes as the 28 wire. one is 1.42 ohms the other came out to 1.7 ohms.
both 2.5 mm ..8 wraps . just to compare apples with apples .both horizontal builds with f 5 cotton .
where is stupid come in ? I have metal tape with one hole ....one not to good a vape. jep it helps if you build the coil closest to the air hole !and not mix up the side you build your coil on .punched a new hole where the coil is and taped the other side shut. perfect !
plenty of clouds at 20 watts tootle puffer for ever !
the 4 strands twisted is my favored .also has better flavor.

Am I doing something wrong? I keep getting dry hits. I didn't put more cotton than I usually would. I'm using normal cotton and I push the tails in the well like a normal dripper, covering the holes. I don't think I'm using too much cotton? 24g Kanthal, 6 wraps, about .25 ohms and it's wicking forsure cause I can see the bubbles.
What's the pg/vg% of your juice?
