@Chris863
I'm really surprised to hear you say that. I've found the Aromamiser to be the easiest RTA I have to wick, and I've not
come close to a hint of a dry hit.

I am only running it at 55 watts though. How much power are you running when you get dry hits?
I have the same issue as @Chris863. I have tried many different cool configurations, different wicking material, and different wick lengths. No matter what I have tried, it's always been hit or miss on the dry hits. I can minimize the dry hits will shorter puffs and also not fully closing my lips over the drip tip. But honestly, it's a but frustrating and not sure I will continue using it. On my latest build (.35 ohm) I even get the dry hits at 45W.

All you folks that are having probs with dryhitting on the Aroma.....hmmm.
Have you all tried wicking the coil chunky ie. very heavy wicking density? I can bang away on my Aroma at 85-95w with spaced 24g 7wrap Kanthal duals wicked with KGD or Rayon. I cut the tails only long enough to cover the juice holes with either wicking type and thin the tails 50% with Rayon.

Closing down the afc will also help with dryhits cuz it helps pull in more juice.

Finally got around to figuring out my Aromamizer today and made my first dual coil build ever AND only build ever with anything other than 26g Kanthal.

So I initially made a beautiful 3mm horizontal build with 26/32g kanthal Clapton first and it looked great. It was 0.48ohms and fired great. One problem.... 3mm horizontal coils (mine anyways) wouldn't fit in the tank. Oops. Yup, I am a dumdum. Had to scrap that idea.

Next up, same Clapton wire but on a 2.5mm dual coil vertical build. Came out at exactly 0.25ohms (complete fluke) and I am very impressed at how good this tank is. Great taste and lots of vape.

The deck is easy to build on once you get the hang of it IMO. Lots more room than my Crown and Kanger RBAs.

I am really digging the Aromamizer in the very brief time I have been using it. If it doesn't leak and dry hit, it's a winner IMO. So far so good.:)

I've been using the RDTA for about 3 weeks now. I've tried vertical and horizontal builds all around 0.3ohms, kanthal 3mm inner diameter. Im using the istick 100w at 45-55 watts with an 80vg juice.

I'm having trouble trying to get this tank to do what I have seen and read others do. It's great for a few hits and then I get a burnt cotton taste. The vape is still warm and dense, but just with the bad taste. And when I take the deck out its still saturated.

I'm not sure if it's the wicking or the coils. I don't pack the cotton in.

Would be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

Use a small flashlight to check that your coil is aligned with, or at least close to, the AFC holes. Sounds like you're not getting enough AIR.

No dry hits here, 45W 6 strand braided 32g single coil .22 ohm vertical with rayon wick. I tucked some of the tail in the other juice well to help feed the coil. I've put about 30ml through my first build now and I have to say for an RTA lover this one is definitely worth having in the collection, totally worth $20-30. I don't usually buy multiples because there's always something new coming, but I'll probably get another aromamizer in black.

I've adjusted the 510 pin to make sure I've got maximum airflow. I'm considering a twisted 28g build, or going back to vertical and only using 2 of the airflow holes.

If you are seeing plenty of juice in the well but still getting burny hits I'm guessing you just don't have enough wicking density in the coil. If you can pull the wick through the coil from one side without deforming the coil you are underwicked. Well, that applies to coils built with 28g or smaller Kanthal wire.

Get your cotton or Rayon rolled into a snake and rolled down to a needle tip on one end. Insert the tip through the coil and grab it with one hand. With the other hand grab the other side of the wick and pull the wick from both ends while sliding the wick through the coil. It should still have some resistance when sliding through the coil. Once you get the wick into position test for wick wiggle. When wiggling one end of the wick the other end should not move, AT ALL.

Cut the wick tails just long enough to lay over the juice channels.

My girlfriend and I went to the Birmingham Bowl Wednesday. I stayed the night at her house so I wouldn't have to drive so much Wednesday morning. I left my Aromamizer on a paper plate, laying on its side while we went to the game. When I came back, I found liquid on the plate. The tank seemed to still be at the same level though.

I've noticed some wetness around the air holes since I'm using the vape band that closes off two of the air holes. Has this been happening to others or did I screw up my build or something?

The "leaking" through the air holes is not unknown and has been mentioned from the early stages of this thread. Happens to some, but not all. Accumulation of juice/condensation in the coil chamber draining out is the attributed cause when laying it on its side.
