Speaking of airhole alignment, let's see if SC's claim that alignment makes no difference is really true.
The first image is with the airholes clocked 1/8 of a turn back so that the coils are centered between airholes (indirect).
The second image below is with two airholes directly in line with the coils and the other two in line with the posts (direct).

Vapes were taken one after the other but just to be fair I took the direct airflow vape after the indirect airflow vape just in case the wick ran dry on the first vape.

Direct Airflow Graph

As you can see it makes a huge difference in power delivery to the coils. 40-ish with indirect and 60-ish with direct while maintaining identical coil temps. Just sayn. Notice also how with the more restrictive airflow of indirect in the first graph that the juice flow kept up with the power whereas with direct airflow in the second graph the juice availability was waning towards the end of the vape and power was being regulated down. Fun Stuff to see real time!

EDIT; Took a couple more vapes with indirect and regraphed a more stable power.
I just love the facts! Just can't argue with them. :headbang:

Wanted one of these but

I wrote that tank off for three reasons which I don't recall now but spotted them by watching this review

One was the issue of condensation leaking into my mods 510 due to the AFC o ring being at the top and not the bottom

Been there with the Zephyrus v1

I haven't seen much condensation on the MT, been dealing with leaking which is much worse, but I think I will have that solved with my next wicking which I will be doing in the next few mins. I do love my Aromamizers for sure, but I will say the flavor and vapor on the MT is just amazing.

@Quantum Mech have you seen the Zephyrus v2? I am using a black one right now on my SXM and it is a very nice atty. I loved the flavor with the Zephyrus v1 and it was my favorite at its time, but the v2 has improved on any deficiencies the v1 had. Here is my review on it:
TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

It is worth a consideration. Nicely built, real clean, and works quite well. I have the black one using the white O rings which looks very classy. Works perfectly in TC without a hitch. Right now I am using it with Pima cotton and wicking well, but I want to give rayon a try on it to see the difference.

I rebuilt yesterday, because I wanted to give it a go in TC mode. Staying away from Ni200 due to the horrid morning breath it causes me, I grabbed the 26g Ti. I gave it 9 wraps, installed both coils vertically, wicked with Cotton Bacon, trimmed well, and juiced it up. After one tank of juice, this is the result...thick vapor that shoots out of the air holes. It's a darned nice tank. I will be buying more.

I'm not getting dry hits, it just takes alot of force to get full lung hits with AFC wide open. I don't like the drip tip, so I took it off and have been vaping directly from the top cap. Still takes too much force to inhale.

@rangerrobin, if your air holes are lining up with the wick ends instead of the coils it will make a much tighter draw. There have been several fixes mentioned in this thread. The one that works for me is to open up the tank and make a mark on the base where the center of your coils are. Reattach the tank and check for the marks, then unscrew the tank from the base just until the air holes match up with the marks on the base. It usually only takes 1/8 of a turn or less to line them up and does not result in any leakage at the base. This should open up the draw considerably.

Admittedly, I haven't read all 142 pages.
What you suggested worked, but I have a black one, so I just eyeballed it, since I'm probably going to sell it. I'm just not thrilled with this tank.
Thank you for your help though.

RX200 came in yesterday so I took out my single coil build and threw in a dual. Stripped 3 grub screws before I realised I had to strip off that twisted outer wrap to get the grubs from hitting the chamber wall. Also not the prettiest I've seen but looks like it should work well, can't wait till break time to try it!

Too bad, sorry that you're not liking it. :( If we're not careful, @cigatron and I may start a bidding war to take it off your hands. :D

I plan on trying to make claptons with titanium cores for TC vaping. I have some thin kanthal that would be perfect as the wrap.
That is in my wish book too. I haven't dived into the Clapton world because of TC requirements but I know it could be done. Let us know how you build them so we all can give it a try too.

Bleh 5 minutes of break and i blew through 2mls and nic sick off 3mg. I need to play with the power or something, 120w was like drinking juice and lots of heat after warmup but lots of boiling/sizzling after releasing the trigger.

I had a larger gauge Clapton in mine to start off with

But it held way too much heat for me

So went for the smaller gauge above

This was too much of a beast for lickle ole moi
