I set the ohms as low as I could get it, and it seems to be working now. Thanks for the info. I'm still not pleased with the issue of it reading ohms wrong. It may just be one of those things with this mod. I'm waiting on an email back from the seller to see what they want me to do. If I have to swap it out, then I've wasted money on a J-wrap...and I hate wasting money. Well, the wife wasted it, but it was my money. LOL

Glad to hear it's working out. It really ISN'T a bad mod. Just misunderstood. Or something. :)

Not, not a bad one at all...just finicky as heck. It's firing great at 390*F, and giving nice, warm and flavorful vape. I'm less concerned about accuracy, except for the ohms, and more concerned about the vape and flavor. I've played around with Ti, and have a nice build in my other Aromamizer, but this second one for specifically for SS builds, and it was upsetting that I couldn't get it where it worked. I thank you profusely for your assistance. I've tried in other groups and threads to get help, but most are folks that don't understand what I'm explaining...leading me to believe that they don't actually own one.

Thanks again for your help.

Well, I trashed the clapton while tuning a hot spot out of it after a wick change. There must have been a hot spot, and it torched the wick, and while tuning it, I twiched...and destroyed the coil. So now I'm on my second clapton for the day. This time I spaced it a hair or 3, but still a single coil 7 wrap. It's firing nicely, and spitting mad. LOL I love it when a coil, or a pair of coils, is spitting mad. That tells me that it will be a great vape.

I didn't think it would vape well as a single coil, but the Aromamizer keeps surprising me.

I have run into that too, anything too close to 0.5 will run into problems in tc mode. Above 0.5 ohm is right out.

Basically, as the real time resistance goes above somewhere around 0.75 ohm (give or take) the mood kicks out of tc.

As I've said, the xcube gets finicky around the edges of it's capability.

You may want to try again closer to a 0.4 res, if it hasn't frustrated you out of trying again.

I'm up to 0.433, and slowly climbing up to see exactly where it punches me into power mode. The more I fiddle around with it, the more I learn about it.

both of us although I consider myself an 'advanced tootle puffer' as I do both. Lungs get to me after too much wattage and too much VG

All his tips are 10 pounds. Shipping to Canada was another 10 pounds, but he does combine shipping.
Sheesh... at first glance I was like, "Thats a heavy damn drip tip!" Then I was like "Mike your an idiot... hes talking money..."

Both of mine got a little rough after sanding too. I took a small piece of sandpaper and sanded a little bevel on the inner chimney ring and tabk base. That helped a bunch but it's still not quite factory smooth.
Mine was silky smooth after sanding. Maybe because I used a ratty piece of sand paper with hardly any grit left on it. Lol took me nearly 2 hours to sand. Maybe using the finest SP you can find might help keep it all smooth. For anyone about to do this.

Just got my Aromamizer.

Tried the vertical coils which was an easier build but the flavor was lacking.

Went back to 25ga - 5 wrap 2.5mmID horizontal, MUCH better flavor IMO.

I do wish they had a plug for the other side of the desk and single hole AFC band for easier single coils.
(versus plugging the other deck with cotton) but it so far a nice vape.

I use a short piece of each of these to plug the other hole for using a single coil.

I thought about that. breaking toothpick tips in there.
This dual build is working well, just wish I had a larger juice budget. This DRINKS juice like a fiend
