:( I'm soooo sad I'm in tears. Depression hit me, and it really hit hard. I don't get it, I'm usually pretty happy all the time. I drove to my nearest quiki-mart last night when it started and bought a pack of generic analogs -- lit up, got a head rush and nausea. I thought I was going to sick up before I could drive home. (My neighbor will get another pack of analogs to his delight.) Anyway, went to bed a little late and couldn't sleep. The last time I looked at my clock it was 4:45 am -- can't even sleep.

QUESTION: Are there any kind of vapeable essential oils that render a Happy Pill? I mean, is vaping in any way connected to aromatherapy? I guess it would have to be a natural flavoring considering. My usual daily vapes are Ahneeda Fruit (orange/tangerine mix) and Atomic Cinnacide (cinnamon and fire). I went to the Health Forum and got depressed to yet more tears -- possibly could have chosen a better thread than the COPD one I just happened upon.

If anyone has had any favorable happy vape experiences, any feedback you could offer would really, really help at my [hopefully] temporary set-back.

Please and thank you,
Desperate but hopeful

I don't know about "happy", but here in the past week (I totally quit analogs 9 days ago) when I get upset or depressed (usually from a craving, only had one REAL bad one) I hit the strongest mg and flavor juice I got, almost to the point of overload, until I get the "swimmy" head I used to get from analogs (think first cigarette of the day lightheadedness, but stronger). Puts me in a very mellow mood, and is usually the only thing I can focus on.

I'm not telling you this will work for you, but from someone with Bipolar "disorder" and clinical depression, something along these lines might help. Get focused on something that makes YOU happy, have PV in hand, and vape the sadness away. It really works for me, hopefully it'll help you.

I feel for ya, but stay strong, it WILL pass :)

Edit: may also help, try some Lavender oil on the temples. Lavender has an incredible calming effect.

Ditto on the lavendar. You can also light lavendar candles or burn the essential oils.

When I have the blues, I find vaping my favorite flavor helps. If there is one in particular you LOVE, stock up.

I also find it helps me to help other people. IE: search the boards, look for questions you can answer, or give something away, etc. Although this isn't ecig related, you can also volunteer, go outside and dig in the dirt (plant, weed, whatever), start a project.

Just a few ideas.
Hope you feel better soon!

ROSE -- thanks for the links. I have a Boneys mkt a coupla blocks away. I know they'll have all those oils. My daughter is a Reiki master, and when she moved out, she left her rose oil, a lavendar and an inspiration. I just now put the rose oil in my lamp ring. I'm babysitting her huge rottweiler right now, so I can just refuse to give him back until she grants me a reiki session, crystals included. How can she refuse her mother? I almost PM'd you last night, but now I forgot what I was going to PM you about.

BLAZE -- thanks for the advice. I don't know what strong nicotine is. I currently vape a 24mg. I just viewed at what the majority of others vape and bought that. I just got a 48mg, but I use a doubler on that. Doing something that makes me happy would be to practice my qigong sets, watch some Eddie Murphy movies, read the Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum Series -- gotta luv those female bounty hunters, heh heh.

LEANNEBUG -- I think you hit another nail on the head. I need to get outside and get that radiant energy flowing through me again, not to mention soaking up some vitamin D3. I did notice a few minutes ago that my daughter took her lavendar plants with her, waiii. Time to get my own.

Thank you guys, I needed to have my brain jogged. I think I was tired and depressed this morning and when I logged on and read about the Polish president being killed and the miner's tradgedy, I just crumbled.

Oh dear God don't vape anything THAT strong. The strongest nicquid I've got is 36mg, and that doesn't take but 6-7 good inhales to get the head swimmin'.

Leanne has a good point. Even tho I'm a vampire  a little sunshine does wonders for one's mood.:)

Dats cuz I so smart! :D

I always feel better in the summer, of course a lot of that is warmth related. But I do find I need a little bit of sun everyday.

Gardening is my "go-to" when I'm mad. Hehe.. nothing like tearing up weeds and getting dirty to get out a little frustration.

Have you ever tried Reiki on yourself? I used to do it in college (before I knew what Reiki was.. course this was 20 years ago too)

I vape only 24mg or below. A doubler is 0mg. You can buy a 48mg flavored eJuice from Tasty Vapor (tastyvapor.us) ; then you buy a doubler which is the very same flavor as your eJuice, but it is 0mg. You mix doubler to bring it down to 24mg, in my case, but you can add even more doubler to bring the mg percentage down as low as you wish.

Tasty Vapors each Friday has a 30ml bottle of juice on sale for $10. They change their $10 special every Friday. They carry my favorite juice which is Atomic Cinnacide -- tastes like an atomic fireball. It's a good vape for a beginner until their taste buds return to normal function. :)

But, you're brave to vape a 36mg. I'm afraid it would give me a migraine. Thanks for your help. The rose oil I have on my lamp rign and the good company here on ECF has made me feel better already.

No, I do Spring Forest Qigong. Reiki is a spin-off of qigong, years later. Qigong can heal cancer and degenerative disease and is a good preventative. It is a very slow motion set. I do it standing, but you can also do it sitting or lying down. The problem w/Qigong is it detoxes your body so fast that you literally reek like a skunk afterwards. You have to take a shower right after a session. Also, it peels the weight off you too fast. I wasn't really wanting to lose much weight, but I went down to a size 4 from being a size 8. The good part of that was that I was then tiny enough to sit in full lotus position for noon meditation (breathing exercises). If you did reiki on yourself without knowing what it was, you probably have excellent intuition. Thanks so much for your help.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread Seabrook... but I have to ask this question:

What does this mean???

I'm seeing it everywhere!

I don't know what that means either. I guess it's one of the contests they run here on ECF. When I first came to ECF, I wasn't going to be here long, so I didn't bother to learn much. I still don't even know what a blog is.

Now my tune has changed. Every thread here is so imformative, and the members are so awesome and sweet and caring and supportive. This is the first time I've ever socialized on the internet, and I'm really digging it. So now I want to be a good sport, so I need to go found out somewhere how to make an avatar and how to do links and all the other little trix.

Cigarettes have burning alkaloids that function as MAOIs (main ingredient in some anti-depressant drugs). You could get a prescription for anti-depressants but you might want a very low dosage.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind for my neighbor. I'm trying to win him over to e-cigs. He coughs so much, he either falls down or blacks out. He's in the hospital now from a broken ankle from fall during one of his coughing fits. So I'll have to wait a while on offering him a fresh cart to have a pull on my extra battery.

I, myself, only go to the doctor if I need stitches. Haven't been to one in years. I don't do the yearly female stuff or any any kind of physicals or any of that stuff. That may change, though, when I get older.

Thanks Sun. I luv, luv, luv your DIY How To. It took me 2 or 3 days to get through, as I kept reading and reading and reading. So awesome! Congratulations on a job well done. Three atta boys to ya!

Which would probably take a few weeks to take effect … consider smokeless tobacco instead. Still considerably healthier than analogs, and they work immediately. Head over to the smokeless section of the forum and look around there.

Well, welcome then! :D
I have found gobs and gobs of information here. It's almost as addicting as cigarettes! Everytime I turn around, I find something new to learn or research. There is a wealth of information, and YES so many nice and helpful people. Truly a great forum!

An avatar is just a picture you can upload to your 'profile'. Find one you like, and wa-la! It's your "avatar". A blog is kind of like a diary that others can read. If you go here you can read a lot of the forum how-tos. If it's not there, just ask :) Someone is bound to answer!

O~ I haven't heard of that! It sounds very interesting. Also like something I could personally use!

Thank you :)
