Let me first start this off by saying I absolutely love my ACTv4 tank. If I could get my issue with that I am about to discuss figured out I will probably need to buy at least a few more of these. My issue is probably more related to the cartos than anything else. I keep having my cartos short within less than a days use. I have gone through 10 cartos since receiving my tank of Wednesday. I am using a carto punch purchased from Stormy's to punch my cartos, and I don't believe I am going to far into the filler when I pierce it. I am using Boge LR Stainless cartos that I bought from a reputable dealer. I really need to figure out why these keep shorting. I ruined a brand new AW IMR 2000 mah (once again purchased from a reputable dealer), due to the short.

The other less annoying issue is that the cartos aren't feeding from the tank. I keep having to unscrew and screw the tank to force liquid into the cartos. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Any help anyone could give would be great! These tanks are amazing and if I could figure out these 2 issues I would be in heaven and have to get a few more for my collection.

Thanks!

Thanks never could find an email other than Stormy's and I knew they would help, but I figured I would try to ask the community to see if maybe the shorting was normal or whether maybe I was doing something wrong.

My first thought was maybe I was piercing the carto coil which caused it to short after a little use. I dug out the dead cartos (yes I save them) boiled the liquid off and couldn't even see a hole in the filler.
So I am at a loss. Maybe just a bad bath of cartos. Although without punching a hole for tanks these same cartos have lasted at least a week.

Definitely appreciate the help.

Here's what Arry replied...hope this helps.
cartos aren't feeding from the tank – May need more than one hole if using VG , make sure carto is well soaked in juice first. cartos short within less than a days use. , Depends on device , some have high centre pins on them so this then pushs on the centre pin in the carto when screwed down hard ,

assemble tank with adapter fitted hold fire button and soon as you hear it fire stop and see if there is a gap between top of device connector and 510 adapter fill gap with m7 shim washer / very thin washes. or use adjustable adapter
