Yeah my son has huge tonsil too which from what i understand from the allergist is that they become inflamed because of his allergies and reflux. I had him brush his teeth at least 4 times the other day because his breath really stunk now i know why lolStar - "largish"? LOL Good, definitive medical term.
I have done it on a couple of older kids, and lots of adults, but probably not best on little ones. Plus, like the Dr said, they can be sort of in a "cave" and you can't see all of what's behind door #2 ....
DD has had a couple because she has tonsils the size of NY.
DD had the same breath problem .... her tonsils were blamed on/causing her ear infections. They couldn't decide which was causing which, and they took her adenoids out when they did her ear tubes. Dr said they were "huge" ... another really quantitative description. LOL
She still gets them, but we got some of this zinc based mouthwash .... "Smart Mouth", and it really helps.

Maybe but I also dislike feet and I still kiss the girls attached to those feet so as long as I can't see um then it's all good.... Unless her breath smells really bad

also the doctor said that they don't take tonsils out now like they use to, so he said that he would have to have severe problems with them to get them out, as with before in the 80's no one had tonsil lol, i think i'm the only one left with them lol
But I'm really weird when it comes to things like that.... My dad burnt himself once and I couldn't look at it so I complained every time he tried to air it out because I had to see it 
And I recall this kid in my 9'th grade home room that I couldn't look at because his whole face was covered in acne boil type things.... I know he must have been miserable and I didn't mean to be a jerk but every time I looked at him my skin would begin to crawl

my dad is the same way, he can't even look at his own blood lol when my brother and i were little he gave us a mini padre bat to play with we ended up whacking each other in the foreheads with it and he darn near fainted he had to call my mom home (she worked at the hospital) and she had to take us back to the hospital because my dad couldn't deal with the blood lol
I would pay to have it removed or she would need to wear socks at all times? But I guess it's my one eccentricity!

I don't really have anyone else to share this with, it sort of pertains to this thread... I'm a tank user and I've been somewhat disappointed with the available selection. I figure I most like the Jonboy tanks but don't use 'em much because they are not compatible with my beloved Trippy Tips. A couple of months ago I had a crazy idea that I could make my own tanks to my personal specifications. After spending a bundle on equipment and several botched tries I believe I have built a tank that will be usable. If not it at least resembles my original idea. The idea was to make tanks out of resin blanks(like the Jonboy tanks) that match my Trippy Tips and my PVs.
I designed this one to work with 801 fusion mega cartos. Note how the bottom covers the collar and eliminates the unsightly gap, this gap bugs me but is there on pretty much any fusion/tank setup or buzz/tank setup. It sort of matches this tip, i tried to make it look as if it were part of the tip. I wanted to make the diameter match my Buzz but pen blanks of this size are hard to find. This tank was more of a practice run but hopefully I will be able to match tanks more closely to my Trippy tips in the future.

AWWW, hate it when lil ones are ill. Ask the Doc for viscous lidocaine. Put some in his juice, works wonderful! Also, like kidney stones, an acid ash diet works to relieve them and prevent further formation. Cranberry juice is not so horrid to kids anymore, they added cherries and blueberries, all non-calcifying ingredients. Just my 2 pence worth.

A question..............IF, one were to place a brand new Mini Lavatbe in black with an unused JB Abalone tank and extra o rings and a set of batteries............what should oe ask for such a tank set-up in this extremely depleted demand greater than quantity available situation. I saw one go for 120.00 recently without a lavatube or extras. I want an old Lab glass days trippy and a unique donut. Can I ask for a trade for those or do I have to have an asking price? Does anyone know the answer in our Trippy Nation? The abalone is green.grey silver.

it's gonna be pretty hard to get a open lab glass piece though... but then who knows... someone might go for it.
lavatanks do fetch a pretty penny since it's so hard to get and barely anyone is willing to give it up out right.
