Disclaimer for those who don't understand that I'm just joking and do not in any way condone such actions . . . I've encountered far too many of those misunderstandings this week so I'm a little gun-shy when it comes to my typical tasteless humor

Aw man, don't sweat it! Two of my favorite sayings are:

Children need a beating every day because even if they didn't do anything wrong, they thought about it.

Better to be a smarta$$ than a dumba$$.

I wouldn't beat my kids (if I had any) but I would discipline them.

And I already am a smarta$$

I know just how you feel. It's odd that employers don't realize that people are going to be punching the clock and taking their days when they act like that. I hope you enjoyed your day off!

Well, this is turning out to be a pretty pathetic storm over here. All day long it was a state of emergency and everybody was calling for a couple feet, but the last "local on the 8's" on the weather channel only says 8-12" . . . there's only a little over an inch on the ground right now. I guess I should be thankful since it's less to shovel tomorrow

Me neither...actually I can't lie...I always I mean always laugh!! My children all have tells...my daughter laughs....my oldest son has a strawberry mark on his forehead and it turns bright red...SO FUNNY, my next oldest son smiles, and my youngest wont look you in the eye...

Hi Amie. I hope you're having a great day!
OMG! This morning I came across a recipe for something called "Slow-cooker Beef Ragu". Basically, you put a pot roast in the slow cooker along with garlic, onions, spices and some red wine and beef broth and cook all day. Then shred it and serve it over noodles, mashed potatoes, etc. It's outstanding! I'm nuking some mashed potatoes right now.

Thanks Sun, That image made my day and yes I used my day off very efficiently to catch up on stuff that I typically only get done in small increments. However my wife seems to be a bit on edge today for some unknown reason so I'm just chillin and hoping whatever's going on blows over. She been touchy all day. May just be having me around all day has cramped her style a bit. Don't know, not asking. I hope everyone's having a great Friday and look forward to getting the rest of my To-dos finished this weekend. So I can be up bright and early on Monday for my 8:30am arrival at the office...Can't wait

ROTFL! Thank goodness I missed out on that. My sister was a tomboy and the jock of the family. She'd rather be playing basketball w/the guys than being a girly girl. and my nephews are boys.
