Brew, I just thought it was a funny way to cut grass. That said, I agree completely re the digital/analog thing. That's why I refuse to purchase every other version of Windows. Invariably it's just a beta version of the next version. For example, Vista followed by Windows 7. I refuse to be an unpaid beta tester.

I by no means took offense to your post but I used to have a digital instructor who was proud to tell us all how digital was invented by lazy folks that didn't want to manipulate all the analog data so they threw out what they didn't need and kept all that mattered. That was about the time that CDs first hit the market and I invited him to come over and listen to a piano concerto on a Sota Star Sapphire turntable cause I guaranteed him he wouldn't be so happy with the digital to analog comparison. Digital and data compression saves a lot of space and make sense at higher sampling rates but implying it's better than an infinite number of samples is just plain foolish. Oh and Bill was a great marketing guy with a gift for business negotiations but better at stealing ideas than he was dreaming them up. Jobs on the other hand was a visionary genius but a bit too much of a control freak for me to ever drink the Apple Kool-Aid. But I'm only a little opinionated...

My suggestion would be to stay at the Flamingo. At much fun as the actual Meet is you'll spend much more time out of the convention hall and hanging in other areas where vapers are congregating. And it's makes it easy to take a nap with Blu, well not with Blu, or I guess you could take a nap with Blu in different rooms together. You get the point !!! In Chicago some people had to book at other hotels and it was a beech for them.

Wharf - yeah, I am gonna stay there, I want to be able to run up to the room to get a sweater, or batteries, or take a break, and not have to go outside, across the street, etc .... 
its awful a bit south of us semis turned over and thrown off overpasses, trailer parks that look like nothing but a landfill. incredible. we are ok here
Glad you are safe, I saw some of the news coverage so sad!
Beata and I are in for Vegas! Still need to make reservations though! What day will you all be arriving? I am feeling a pre-party if we can get there Thursday!
