Ok people I need some help. I really want to change over to e-cigarettes, but as usual I'm clueless about them. I smoke Camel menthol silvers and I want a mild menthol taste still with nicotine there. I need something that works and that is not that much hassle. I travel a lot and not being able to smoke in airports now gets quite annoying. So please help!!!

I'd reccomend a 510 from strictlyejuice.com blue foam a pair of tweezers and they have tons of flavors to choose from.
I have been vaping only 2 weeks but I wrote this long dissertation today. Perhaps it will help. I am somewhat reluctant to send it out as i don't want to be accused as thinking I know everything about all this.
It is just a basic outline in an effort to try and help as it took me more reading on this than you would care to hear about....lol. I think it took me a full day just to figure out what the heck an atomizer was...

blue foam can be used as a filler in some cartomizers, tweezers to help remove the old filler and put in the new.
Wow...ok... This is a lot to try to figure out. So, how hard is it to change out flavors?
It is not as complicated as it seems at first. The issue is really trying to determine which might be the "best" for you. Once you get one it is simple to use it.
Menthol flavors are more persistent then other flavors in my experience I've washed out non menthol carts in the sink with really hot water and the flavor was pretty much gone, menthols took more work, replacing the filler would solve that problem.
Ok well I guess now is the time to figure out which one would be the best for me. I need something that has a good battery and puts out enough nicotine.
A lady yesterday said that one of the experts on this recommended the 302 pen style for her. Perhaps ask questions about that one to see if anyone has it and give you some personal experience with it. I have never tried it, so can't really comment other than from what I have read.
I really like the style of the Blu's but i've heard some reviews that the cartridges don't taste good. I want something like that with good flavors.
That sure seems like a lot of unnecessary hassle, have you looked into Vapor4Life or Nhaler? Unlike an old-school 3 piece unit, V4L and Nhaler sell the easy-to-use 2 piece KR808D-1 batteries that utilize a combined atomizer and cartridge known as a Cartomizer. The Cartomizers come in blanks for filling with e-juice or flavored pre-fills to simply screw on and vape.
They come in over 100 flavors and the batteries come 3 sizes, multiple colors in both auto and manual. Think of a Cartomizer as the filter of a cigarette and the papered tobacco as the battery. Nothing to fill, simply screw the Cartomizer on the Battery and vape...it's just that simple.
You can find both of these supplier in the Supplier Forum. Vapor4Life is very popular, note their hit count, it's over 100,000 for a reason.

I'd avoid the blu's the battery life on them is pretty bad. If you want good battery life ego/riva style is the way to go. As long as your buying juice to fill your own cart's or carto's you can buy it with as much or as little nicotine as you want. you'll probably want to start off trying stuff with around 24mg.
Ok, well see, you already have it pretty narrowed down to the style you want. The simplest style like the Blu is the 2 piece like the KR808 and the 4081. I have never tried either so I will wait for someone else to chime in. My KR808 won't be here for a day or two.
One thing is if you travel alot - battery life is probably very important to you.
If you need something that looks like a cig than go with the 510 and a PCC (Personal Charging Case). The 510 will last for about an hour with constant vaping. The PCC will allow to recharge your battery 4-5 times. You will want to have at least two batteries so you dont have to wait for the one you are using to recharge.
If you are not so concerned with it looking like a cig go with the Ego or Riva (the are basically the same thing but I think the Riva is a bit cheaper). Lots of people with the 510 have upgraded to the Ego/Riva. You do not need a PCC with the Ego although there is one available if you think its necessary. The batteries last forever - mine will last me a full 24 hours of heavy vaping (of course I am sleeping during some of that time.

If you're anything like me, when I began I wanted a small ecig. I read the forums, though, and fortunately I saw the benefits of something not so traditional. Vaping is very much like the "act" of smoking, but it is a different beast altogether. It is much more pleasurable but, from what I have gathered, is very disappointing with the wrong equipment. I truthfully don't think you would be happy with a small ecig because you stated that you travel alot. For a reliable vape I would suggest the Joye Ego from all the feedback on the forum. I myself have the Joye 510 Mega, it fits my needs, but I am always near a power source and really don't worry about my batteries going dead. From others on the forum I gather the batteries in the ego last a long time. I imagine nothing is worse than switching to vaping and being somewhere you cannot charge your ecig. To further simplify your life I would also suggest cartomizers (a fusion of atomizers and cartridges) they are very easy to refill, they last at least half a day of moderate vaping and they are easier if you are very mobile, making two pieces one.
I smoked menthol most of my smoking life, but when I quit smoking last time I got hooked on regulars. I really can't recommend a good menthol, but one of the pluses of vaping is the great variety of flavors. I will recommend 555, it is good. I am also partial to chocolate flavors and strawberry. Everyone recommends r4y, but I have only sampled one vendor and I was more pleased with the 555 from another.

BTW, no matter which ecig you choose, remember to get extra batteries, atomizers, and JUICE; can never forget the juice. Thank you everyone for your input it really helped me a lot. I'm going to do a little more research before I purchase, but it will be soon!
One last question though. What is the difference between a manual battery and an automatic one? Probably a stupid question but i'm new.
