Okay I might get yelled at for this but I think you cant scorn a individual group for using there rights to want a ban. I think instead of attacking these groups why dont we form some kind aliance if you will to get them to understand ow this works and how it could save millions.

The problem with this is you can't reason with individuals like this. They aren't interested in anything other then what they believe, and nothing you say or show them will change their minds.

To these people, this is like a religion, and you can no more reason with them then you can the guy who knocks on your door at 7AM on a Saturday morning to tell you about Jesus.

They were given an inch years ago, and now they're trying to take a light-year.

And dont forget, no more gasoline, nor diesel fuel. When they took the lead out of gasoline in the United States, they replaced it with benzene, which causes leukemia. And, diesel has all that pollution it puts out when it's burned. So, we need to ban both of 'em.

Agreed. That's the same sort of argument used by all sorts of bigots. To people like that, if you dont look like them, dress like them, eat the same foods as them, pray to the same diety, worship at the same church, have the same type of sex and in the same frequency and positions, and mindlessly agree with everything they say, then you're worthless in their eyes.

kinda summed up this whole thread...

i did not read the entire petition....however i did read the entire thread the parts i did read make me think this "group" is little more than angry people who have run out of things to hate... so they hate the guy smoking in HIS car next to them at the stoplight, etc...

these people will never get over the fact that our vapor LOOKS like smoke... they are the same idiots who see fog and call it smoke... then start up their SUV's, and give no thought to the toxic chemicals spewing out of it.... "well I cant see anything must not be nuthin' cumin' out that cud hort nobudy!"
