Hi All,
I don't DIY and only use V4L Carts but I have a couple of small bottles of V4L juices that are a 24 nic level. I usually use 36 and would like to know if any of you folks can advise me as to how to add more nic to the 24 to make it a 36? I hate to toss the juice even though it's a smaller amount. I would appreciate any advice. Specifically, what I need to know is what nic to buy(and maybe where) and how much to add to the juice to raise it. I've read a lot of good stuff from this forum but couldn't find what I need. Thanks so much.[/QUOT]

Actually, you could just add 12% of 100% nicotine to a bottle of 24mg to make it 36mg. Or buy a bottle of 11mg from V4L of same flavor and add it to your own bottle to make 60ml of 35%, which would be safer and easier if ya ask me. 100% nic can be dangerous to work with.

Or send it all to me, I use 24% :) j/k

whoa, the thread started going all trigonometrical and my brain exploded. i don't know if they got your answer in there, but the short answer is, if you have 24mg cartos, and you have 36mg juice of the same flavor, do the taryn spin to extract the 24mg from the cartos and then mix it with an equal amount of 36. your mixture should be about 30mg, which you can then refill into same cartos.

i use a similar technique, extracting my 11mg and cutting it with zero nic, then refilling same cartos.

(for you or anyone else reading this thread: quick explanation of taryn spin process: 1. put carto on your pass-thru. 2. remove white end cap. 3. slide "condom" cap about 40% onto end of carto. 4. hold pass-thru wire and twirl around in circle so centrifugal force expels juice from carto into "condom" cap. 5. collect juice from cap. be careful that cap doesn't fly off across the room. use a snug one. )

One of the best shows I've seen ... Steely Dan at Summerfest a few years back!

ooh! so jealous am i! i didn't know they still toured. i'll have to keep an eye out. one of the most talented artists ever, IMHO. Aja was my first piece of vinyl ever, when i decided to commandeer ownership of it from my mom when i was about 7. i played it on my FISHER-PRICE RECORD PLAYER! lol

You guys are great!
I almost got confused with all the mixing and math. I think I'll just use the 24mg and get some V4L 36. with all the mixing and calculations, I'll probably end up with peanutbutter. Thanks for all the input. As I said you guys are great.

According to PI, FM and Steely Dan, you'll end up with 30mg nicotine.... Right Wade?

My first was Meet the Beatles (nods to Maxwell). I was 10. Decided I'd marry Paul McCartney. Never did get to see them live as I was too young. But for my 50th birthday my brother took me to see Paul. Not exactly the same, but close enough for a lifelong fan.

Yeah, I can see that Wade! I spent a couple years running five axis CNC mills and seven axis CNC lathes, I'd progressed to get to play with the "big boy toy's". Lot's of things happened that I can't and wont even try to explain! I saw a tool changer flat freak out and try to take a tool out of a running spindle, then rotate as the head of the machine dropped down to make a cut with no tool in it! Talk about tearing some stuff up! Boss came out and ripped me up one side and down the other. Thing had been running fine all week on these parts, some limit switch went hay wire, but it's always the machinists fault!
Spent a year as a maintenance tech for a shop that cut alum plate to size for machine shops. BIG plate! Up to 9" thick and 14'x12' plates!
Damnedest thing I've ever seen was the "orb" after watching a 440v three phase blade motor blow the power lead! Makes you believe in Aliens and God all at the same time!

Fun stuff indeed Saw. I once saw a 1.5 Tesla Magnet pick up a hand truck with a collared skid full of misc test equipment and suck it 30 feet thru mid-air into the bore of the magnet. Lucky for the tech he wasn't in between the magnet and the skid!

And I still shiver a little from the time I brushed the hairs on the back of a knuckle across a lug on a 480 3 phase transformer. My other hand was in my pocket or I might not be typing this right now!

Great! I have a question about switching over from analogs. I was smoking a pack a day and still sneak in 3-5 analogs a day (though I've only been vaping for about 3 weeks). I feel like I have to constantly vape to keep from switching to an analog. For instance if I have to do something where I can't vape for a few hours I'm too impatient to wait for the slow vape of nicotine to kick in, I give in to an analog for the quick relief. What was your process like?

An UPDATE! Thanks to the great advice you guys gave me I got some strong morning carts and eventually got to the point that I no longer need an analog to wake up in the morning! This makes a huge difference not to have to go outside in my slippers just to get the day started. Now I can easily go a day without any analogs, but I think part of my success has been NOT putting intense pressure on myself not to (psychologically).

Another tip I can give to newbies is that when I went to buy a new pack of analogs (which is now only every couple of weeks instead of every day!) I bought ultra lights. So now if my "self punishing" mind wants an analog I get enough of that feeling, but the hit is so light it doesn't throw me off. It's trained me to prefer vaping in those moments, because the nicotine hit is equal if not less to vaping, and I just notice the nastiness. I'd say that is the best way to give in if you are starting out.
