I need the advice of someone who has ordered through v4l at least a few times. I recently bought another brand 808 which was reported to be the "best" by many a thread I read. All I can say is too bad I discovered v4l after the fact. Anyway, I bought one of the kits for someone's birthday this weekend. Not all the pieces work though and they are out of stock so can't replace it. I could gift it anyway and promise the other piece when it becomes available (what time that is even the company has no idea), but the person would not be able to use it. I'm thinking now of ordering a v4l kit for them. What do you think the chances are it would be in by Friday going to New England, and does anyone know if they offer expedited processing and shipping? Thanks!

They do have over-night shipping. Probably if you ordered today it would make it there with standard delivery, but who can be sure?

I think there is an issue with kr808 usa made batts working with the chinese PCC's and other parts. Don't know if this is your issue, but it is an issue.

Thanks for your quick response! I got a mini pcc from the other place but it's a dud. It is made in china, though the company is usa. Would the v4l pcc charge other mini (65mm) batteries?

I like the product I got from them. It vapes great, but when I want something I want it NOW. Lol Just how I'm made. And this places seems to have serious stocking issues which I just really don't want to run into in the future. I want to have a kit from a place that I can order from anytime and expect to get my item within a week. Now of course every place will be oos on some items some times, but being out of 60% + of the line is just unacceptable to me. Yes, I know these things happen and im sure they're doing the best they can, but to be blunt, I just dont want it to be MY problem.

And i've read horrible cs issues with them also, though they've been good with me so far, they haven't been great and response time isn't great either. Maybe I'm just used to LF, cignot and the juice suppliers I use because they all are SUPER quick on responses. Guess I got spoiled :O

The V4L PCC will charge any KR808D-1 battery. The PCC you now have might just need to be cleaned, it's worth a try. Just clean the flat part that connects to the battery with a q-tip and alcohol. Make sure it's fully charged then screw in a dead battery, when the red light blinks (sometimes slowly so you have to keep an eye on it) it's charged. You can also test it by screwing in a charged batt and see if it blinks red. I've had 2 PCC's and both needed to be cleaned with alcohol (or vinager will work) before it worked. G'luck!

I got my pcc in the mail today, and it doesn't seem to be showing the cig battery charge. The led for the case changed from red to green when the case battery was charged, but the cig battery led doesn't blink when the cig battery is fully charged. I felt a bit silly sitting and staring at that little red light, urging it to blink, but to no avail. I tested the cig battery on the wall charger and it shows fully charged. I tried the above suggestion, cleaning the charging connection with alcohol and I cleaned the cig battery as well, but it still isn't showing a battery charge. Is there anything else that I can try, or should I contact customer support? Thanks in advance.

You can fill out a trouble ticket and get another one, tell them the indicator light isn't working. They have new ones that have a push button to see if the batt is charged, so you might want to request one of those. You just charge the batt 3-4 hourrs and push the button to see if it's charged (green is charged and red is charging). I think you'd like the newer one better, so ask them about that. G'luck! :)

This whole, go to strong nic vap is going to make me go back to V4L's site again. I already took advantage of their coupon for my 100 dollar order.

I noticed for me it helps to also have new flavors to play with some times. I do have an analog in the morning still but I hope my waffle cartos will fix that :D. I did get past most of my cig cravings by swapping flavors and trying something new every time I wanted a cig. Took my mind off that I was not getting my quick nic fix that you get from a normal cig.

This is not my question but it was asked on the new members forum by someone who does not have the posting requirement to ask here
"I ordered some cartos from v4l and they sent along some e- liquid samples for me to try but they didnt have any strength indication on the bottles. they had the amount which was 5 ml but no nicotine strength. does anybody kn ow if these samples have nicotine in them or are they just a flavor sample?"

I don't know the answer since I am about to get into juice myself but have not started yet.

Curious. I'm new to all this and found the vapor4life site and adore the style and color choices. I'm a pack a day menthol smoker, and have a couple questions...

I'm looking at the: Vapor4Life- Electronic Cigarette: Vapor King shorty Value Starter Kit

What's better auto or manual for the battery? I love that it comes in Purple... Haha So ordering that I still have to purchase more cartomizers correct? I was looking at the Riva510 but I like the color choices the vapor4life ones come in. Now is it better to purchase the pre-filled cartomizers? Or buy the liquid and I guess the blank ones...?

I would start with some prefilled to get used to it.You can always refill them.Try the menthol sampler so you can try 5 different kinds.I would recomend standards so when your ready to fill or refill you can use them, its not recomended to use refills on autos incase they leak into the battery.I love the XL manual, its nice because it lasts like twice as long as a shorty.Maybe try one of those too.
