My lady friend's 19 year old son has been missing since Friday. Hasn't been home, work or school. Hasn't been heard from by friends or family. Police have been notified but they can only do as he is an adult. All of this is completely out of character for him. He did tell friends last week he was feeling depressed.

Still smoke free, but struggling, but that is insignificant. We just want the boy home and safe. If you can spare a prayer or two for a stranger's family, I would be in your debt. Thank you.

Dear OP, I came across this thread because a friend of mine commentedon it and it popped up on my activity screen. I will say 2 prayers for you tonight. One will be for your lady's friend son that he is safe wherever he is and the other will be for YOU to stay vaping through this ordeal. It's these stressfull triggers that usually result in relapse back to stinky sticks and I'm proud of your strength.

RHP.

That's distressing, Irish. I can understand the pain the parent/s, u and all the folks r going thru. I know he'd return, safe... I had a similar via-dolorosa with someone close. Our prayers r ur way.

"And this is the boldness we have in God's presence: that if we ask God for anything that agrees with what he wants, he hears us. If we know he hears us every time we ask him, we know we have what we ask from him" (1 John 5:14-15, NCV).
