Yep, the idiot and bumbling Axiom_1 had another accident yesterday while working only this time it was a fairly mild and common one, even though it didn't "tickle" for sure...... I busted up my left hand pretty good as I was pounding on a large spike with a sledge hammer and the sledge hit me on the left hand and mangled up my thumb and fore-finger pretty good... But, I can't let that slow me down cause it's getting cold and I have to finish that miserable building b4 winter sets in. -- So, I will just have to work with one hand today. --- Funny thing is it's the same hand that got crucified by that nail. I got pics of that nail sticking through my hand and I will put them on here if I ever remember to get them off of the camera. Anyway, hope everything is fine with all my friends here.

Glad to know you're basically okay....

Sorry you hurt yourself again, your buildings not done, and you have to work on it one handed. :(

yeah because winter is approaching fast and I have to have the building done and loaded with firewood. Nothing worse than having to cut and haul firewood during the cold winter months. I have had that happen to me b4 as I have ran out of firewood early and it is very difficult (and dangerous) having to cut wood in the slippery ice and snow.---- We get boat loads of snow where I am at (several feet) and it makes it almost impossible to get firewood during the winter. ---- Also, for many years I have simply piled all my wood into large piles and have tarped them... That is definitely not a very good way to store wood and I have always wanted to get a wood shed for housing the firewood but haven't got around to building one until this year. Tarping firewood sucks because the tarps are always freezing to the ground and heavy snow builds up on top of the tarps and it makes getting at the wood very difficult. Also, tarps don't work very well at protecting the wood from the elements and the wood usually ends up getting wet. So, a good wood shed is the solution to all those problems.

Not only was he an idiot but he was even weirder than most of us here and it wasn't an act either.
Man, look at all you people dissin’ on Tiny Tim. I didn’t like him when I was young, but the older……and more senile I get……the more this silly, happy music grows on me. lol

Ouch, ouch, ouch. I'm so sorry that happened. Have you considered a pair of these?

Maybe just a link? I don't think I can bear to see.

I'm glad you're getting all the wood together. Once you're done, maybe you can just tuck in for the winter and take up a nice, safe hobby. I thought of knitting, but given your history, even that wouldn't be safe. You'd probably be less likely to stab yourself with a need than, through some strange accident, strangle yourself with single strand of Softee Baby Yarn.

Yeah, I think an entire body armor set may help, but then again, I would probably injury myself on the body armor?

Ouch, ouch, ouch. I'm so sorry that happened.

I think my bumbling injuries are a synergistic (multiple factors) phenomenon. --- I think being blind in one eye and having no depth perception is a great part of the problem. The other part is probably ADD.

It was funny because I went to a 3-D movie about a year ago and was all excited about watching my first 3-D movie at the theatre --- But, I forgot that I don't have any depth perception and so when I watched the movie I could not see any of the 3D special effects that everyone else could see. So, I ended up paying a higher amount to see the 3D version of the movie and all for nothing as I can't see depth in 3D space.

Ah, that's kind of a sad story. :(
naww -- I am used to it as I have lived with one eye since I was 26 ----- I am so used to it that I had forgotten that I can't see depth otherwise I would have never purchased the more expensive 3D movie ticket lol
