We still understand very little about our minds and how they work or don't work.
And humans are so variable that saying anything about our minds is absolute is pretty iffy.
But if something works then it works.
One thing about me I am pretty much a true independent in many ways. Perhaps it is because I follow no packs and have no heroes.
My music I like for instance, I like the music or not could not care less about who is playing it or their personal lives, etc. Still only know 2 names of AC DC members.
I pick and choose what I like and trying to force feed me anything is likely to have the opposite effect.
