I get by unless it is one of those stops you breathing and break out in a sweat for a bit stabs of pain
I'm on the Tramadol too. As well as Meloxicam, Gabapentin, and a few different types of muscle relaxants.
They won't do my surgery until the spinal cord is jeopardized. C6-7 is real close. I'm just biding my time until I can retire. Then, it won't really matter that I can't turn my head.
And Robert, the constant pain (I've had it for about 18 years) really does have an affect on one's attitude. All we can do is keep trying.

I take lots of 500 mg Naproxin. My liver failing will one day take me out I expect.
With the new pain pill law they passed here in KY because of the pill heads and the govt punishing those like me it is very hard to get good pain pills now. They will give them to me once my liver shuts down though... go figure. One pretty much has to be terminal to get pain pills now in KY.

Made me hate both knee jerk politicians and pill heads.

They give me big Novocaine patches for when it is BAD.
I had to sign a narcotic contract to get mine. But I have them.
I take Naproxen and Ibuprophen on top of all this stuff. All day long to make it through.

yeah, I take Trazadone to sleep. Even without the pain sleep is difficult, mind does not want to slow down.
Ok, big "duh" moment. I saw the TR and stopped at that. I don't take Trazadone. It's Tramadol. lol
Maybe I've had enough if I can't even see the difference. lol

Same here. Being without the pain would be worth it. They can't fix mine either, without the metal screws and reinforcements.
The surgeon told me mine looks like a bunch of car wrecks too.
Gettin' old aint for sissies. lol
My discs are just mostly gone in 4 places.
All lower back.
The vertebrae are not grinding yet.
I'm sorry guys....
I know it hurts.
Sorry.

Yep pretty much the same here.
I am not sure whether running from a zombie or letting it catch me would be worse...

Don't limit your options. Definitely evading the zombie and escaping is the better outcome.

Did you know that they actually sell ammunition guaranteed to kill zombies? Not sure how the heck they tested it out though.

I think that might be a pretty safe guarantee that your bullets will kill something that's already dead.
