Thanks!!!!! I did it. 25 days. Wow!

Congratulations! This IS awesome. Personally, I was amazed when I'd gotten through the first full day. I'd cut WAY down when I was pregnant, but the only time I ever went a whole day without even a single cigarette was when I was in a hospital, unconscious.

^^^ @NoFumus is actually a very beautiful Woman -- ( I saw her pic) I don't know why she doesn't use her photo for her avatar -- your current one kinda gives a whole new meaning to "ugly" lol

I think mine's cheerful. Yours looks scary and unkind, so it's nothing like you.

    I like your devil, Axiom. Lucifer comes to my house once a month for poker, and he looks very much like that. He seems like a nice enough guy, but I wouldn't want to work for him.

    I'm sorry, Nofumus, but that avatar is actually somewhat disturbing, imho. Of course, I'm one to talk.

    I have clients coming in today in a couple of hours. They have work for me to do, but it's because I made a critical error on their tax return. It's getting so hard to talk to clients, because I've made so many errors in the past two years. I think that my memory issues are getting to the point that I may need to bring in an associate, and just learn to live with less income.

    I knew you would see it my way :)

    Yeah he is trying to tell you in a nice "male " sort of a way that he wants to see your pretty face --
    err at least I know I do :w00t: Please help us out -- we are males so we have an excuse

    @Atchafalaya has her beautiful face for an avatar -- I don't want to hear any excuses from you :w00t:

    Too bad about the memory issues :( Yeah I remember you telling us about the problems you had because of clients.... Hang in there buddy and just chip away at one at a time --- it's about all you can do.

    Oh yeah, Atchafalaya--:banana::headbang:YAY!

    I quit the easy way--being scared to death. I had a viral respiratory infection, so there was no physical way that I could smoke for a few days in the first place. The infection lasted almost three weeks--during tax season! I bought a pulse oximeter and found out that my blood oxygen was at a level normally associated with COPD.

    I went out and bought a box of patches. My third time on the patch, worked that time 'cause I was scared. Didn't know much about this sort of vaping at the time. I had been fighting the urge to go back every single day until I discovered vaping. Even with 0 nic (I already slew the nicotine demon, it was the habit that kept calling), it is probably the best anti relapse treatment that there is. Plus I have a new hobby.

    Trying to convince my wife to join me. She keeps trying to quit by cutting back. Which is, imho, the worst possible tactic of all. I tried that many times. Problem is, you find yourself smoking just as many cigs as you did before in just a few days. I think that this could work for her if she would just try it. It might also help with her candy addiction as well.

    Glad you got it figured out. Keep on vapin, and leave those tobacco bombs behind.
