cmon @Robert Cromwell and @nicnik you guys cannot be that naive can you? .. The churches ARE THE PROBLEM.... Do I have to capitalize/emphasize everything for you? Once again, and in hopes that it will "sink in", I have NOT been talking about RELIGION here .... There is a VAST difference between religion and being truly SPIRITUAL as I have already stated SEVERAL times on here. A person who has never set foot in a church can be close to God and be more spiritually minded than someone who attends on a regular basis and rubs .... rings into the wooden pews. I cannot tolerate people who go to church and are not truly spiritual and go to church out of ritualistic habits.
The simple fact of the matter is the churches have become lathayrgic and turned a blind eye to what is happening in the world instead of getting a "spine" and standing up against some of the things that are creeping into the culture. Once upon a time it was the churches that were the anchor and the glue that kept America at a halfway moral accountability. But they have become spineless and are part of the problem instead of the solution as they once were.
Oh, and your thoughts about Christians getting killed throughout time and about wars always being there------ Of course there have always been wars and of course Christians have always been slaughtered and killed duh. I know why, do you? But the simple fact of the matter is that it has never been like it is now and in modern times. Oh and please don't give me the excuse that we can witness more in these days due to satellite technology.....There has never been a time in my lifetime ( or yours) where Christians were being rounded up and slaughtered in mass numbers and hung upside down on crosses.... Notice I said MASS NUMBERS........There has also never been a time where Jihadists openly state that they are going to kill every Christian on the planet and that they will raise their flag on top of the white house when they are finished. How many times can you remember christians in america being beheaded. You can't because it NEVER happened in the past but it's about to happen now. How many times can you remember people walking into churches and shooting everyone in the church. You can't because it never happened before until now. The only thing that compares is the Holocaust. You know, the thing that many schools are teaching did not happen. Why are they teaching that in some schools? I know why, do you? During the holocaust 8 Million jews and Christians were slaughtered (murdered) and where is all of our wonderful "progression" and "evolution" at?? It's quite obvious that man has not learned a blasted thing from that ordeal. Societies as a whole are so easily manipulated and misled. The German people were lied to and mislead by a mad man and a similar thing is now occurring in America with our corrupt Govt. and the average idiotic citizen does not even know what is happening.
Axiom. I do not believe in any deity or afterlife. I think that this is all we have.

Yes Cromwell, I am well aware of that fact as you have told me once before..... I will never be able to change your mind just like you will never be able to change mine.... But, I am NOT trying to change your mind or anyone else ...... I am merely hinting at certain reasons why I view life differently than say you.
If you had happen to you what I have then I am quite sure that you would view things lots differently but you have not had happen what I have experienced and that is something I cannot control. I do however wished that you could have experienced it and then you would know why I view things as I do.
Trust me Cromwell when I say that I was just like you all of my life. I know EXACTLY where your head/heart is at. I was 2 notches away from being a certified atheist, so I think I know a bit about the humanistic mindset.
