It looks like it but the fins are too far from the wall of the coil housing for it to actually work. When you screw the tank back together after filling it you will notice if you loosen it slightly from fully tightened that you can cover the wick holes or leave them fully exposed

Like I said though when you close it it's not actually closed it just looks like it.If the fins ran tight against the coil housing it would actually be juice flow control but it's not. In the end I wouldn't want to restrict my juice anyway as the problem with high wattage usually is wicking anyway.
If you just screw the coil into the chimney, you can see that there is ample space between the coil and the "battlements" around the chimney. So you don't have to jigger around with trying to get the openings to line up.

True that. It makes no difference where the wick holes in the coil are in relation to the crown. It will have no effect on juice flow to the coil, there is plenty of room between the coil and the crown for juice migration.

I am just a putz. I can't build anything. not even these. either shorted or burning. darnit. could have saved a ton. coil is $4. cotton is $1 for like 20 coils. I was wondering if you keep using the same coil won't the resistance keep going up and then fail?

I must say though these are inconsistent but very good. some last 5 days some several weeks. I use about 20ml a day!

I am just some sort of idiot I guess. how simple can this be.... the few I built that were not shorted or open. horrible burnt taste around .63 ohm to .55-7 stock. 35 watts either. just removed coil from barrel. removed ceramic from coil. covered in organic cotton same size. put back in barrel. I am sorry I am so incredibly inept but it would mean a lot if someone could explain this in detail. or if there is a video I would be elated.

edit: there is a video! too complicated for me. yes, I am that stupid. well, I mean that lazy. I was doing several things wrong so no wonder. however I had spent 30 seconds as opposed to the 20 minute video. I think buying them is fine. I am worried about health as he points out in the video. that stuff flaking off has to go somewhere. interesting that I just saw a news spot that there are no regulations in china and many products may be unsafe. they obviously used that material because it will wear out and we/I will buy more. if they used Japanese cotton they would not have made a s much money on coil sales.

I am a little late to the game on the Atlantis as I wanted to see how it did after being out for a few weeks. For a guy like me who uses mainly carto tanks, and not really wanting to attempt dripping, the Atlantis is nothing short of amazing. The rich flavors come through like never before, and the vapor production is huge, very satisfying and a lot of fun. I had to get a bunch of liquid in 3mg since the 6mg was quite strong in the Atlantis. I am going strong on the same coil for almost two weeks.

Only downside of this tank is it drinks juice mega fast and the coils are pricey. But with the nic hit I get form hit, i can use it more sparingly than other devices.

I'm interested in buying an Atlantis but I want to know if anyone's had any issues with flooding. The reason I quit using the Nautilus is because of the flooding.

Any input from Atlantis owners would be appreciated.
I also had flooding issues with the nautilus mini eventually. The coil started to unscrew when opening the base, rubber on the base started to go/discolor. The atlantis is like a tank in comparison. No issues

I have a friend who has the original provari, 18650 bats, and he's leaning to buying this beast Clearo (Atlantis).
I told him he'll need more power, and a DNA 30 box like the Hanna. Am I correct in my assertions on this ?

Truthfully, i just use my istick with Aspire-es tank w/ bvc coils, and this thing chucks plenty of vapor for me. images 023.jpg

You are correct. The Provari wont even fire at .5ohms. The minimum for the Atlantis is gunna start with something like the IPV Mini 30watt. A 50watt device that can handle down to .3ohms would even be a bit better IMO. It gives you a bit more headroom instead of running it near max all the time.

If he wants something simple and cheap for the Atlantis, look at the Aspire CF Mod (18650) or the Aspire CF Sub (built in battery).

Thanks for confirmation. AS for the device he needs, he wants to get away from the tube/bats.....provari, aspire sub-ohm bat....etc.
So i'm trying to find something (box mod)ish that's not gonna break the bank.
I heard actually aspire will be comming out with differing ohms....5 .8 and 1.0 ohm. In that case, i can use that thing on my istick...lol.
and he won't have to dump his good 'ol provari, that never ever breaks.

Cheers! n thanks

I use both the N mini and Atlantis most every day. No problems with either one. I've been vaping on the Atlantis daily for close to 6 weeks with coffee flavor 50/50 liquid, 25 watts. The original coil is still fine.

P.S. A sleeper worth looking into, the Egrip with the new tiny weenie RBA upgrade. I've been vaping that combination since Friday. Small device but not small on vapor and flavor.

Do you guys know if there will be an extension glass-piece available, to raise the juice capacity on the Atlantis, any time soon? Maybe fast tech

My Atlantis will be here tomorrow, ($25 at midsouthtrading.com) + 10 coils.. I've tried it a few times and it rocked, so I bought one. But today I got to try the Subtank at a local vape shop - and the flavor was AMAZING!! And clouds, just as big and thick as the Atlantis from what I remember.. Excellent airflow, better than my Billow Tank wide opened.
.... and despite it's big size, it actually looked really cool on the IPV Mini.. My relative grabbed the Mini & the Subtank.

Now, I'm regretting getting the Atlantis.. I might contact the website tonight, and try to exchange for the Subtank.. The Flavor was soo good, huge thick clouds, and it holds way more juice & looks real cool. Plus, people are saying the Atlantis coils are unsafe now; and ST uses Japanese cotton.
I also want to sell my IPV3 for an IPV Mini now lol, and that sexy Sigelei 150w.. Damn, why do I have to regret every vape purchase and have buyers remorse?? Seems like I'm making a lot of mistakes lately with my vape purchases, and all this new gear coming out
