So i just picked up an aspire for the missus after she broke her second mini protank and have a few questions. Is it possible to re coil the atomizer and if so can someone link a video? Is 28g kanthal ok for this atomizer? And is there any way to increase airflow and stop the juice from coming out of the mouth piece!

Here's an easy one from Rip Trippers. There are some more elaborate builds involving full disassembly of the atomizer head but, in general, nautilus heads are among the hardest to rebuild. Frankly, if you are interested in rebuilding get an RBA. Kayfun clones can be had for under $17 (not the best of them but certainly useable). The one from FastTech is very nicely manufactured and goes for a meager $25 with free shipping. Much better than the other one (I have both; the $17 one doesn't come with the SS middle section and are prone to leaking unless very properly maintained and filled).

Kanthal 28 is way to large to rebuild these attys. My rebuilds are either done with 36 (double coil). For single coil 32 is OK. You can drill the largest (1.9mm) hole up to 2.4mm but it's tricky. I have avoided this as I usually go for one of the middle ones; 2nd or 3d.

PS, I also have a couple of Nautilus and Aerotanks —the latter are much better.

Thanks. While im looking into rbas for myself, the missus doesnt seem to want to get too deep into vaping so i have to rebuild her coils and other such things. I really dont think she would wand an rba. Ill be grabbing one after i get an mvp 2

i just spend the 2 bucks at my B&M and get another coil! they happened to have a blister pack of 5 that was in a box of 24 that they bought and that one blister pack got crushed somehow..anyway, nothing wrong with the coils, just the packaging...bought a bottle of juice and they threw them in free since they could not sell them! how's that for luck!

I was bragging on another thread how my BDC's did not leak...well in the truck coming home from work yesterday, i started to get juice in my mouth, pulled over and realized i had let the fluid get pretty low, maybe just at the bottom of one of the windows. i think it lost negative pressure and leaked. anyway i cleaned it up in the truck (always carry Q tips and a roll of toilet paper for such emergencies) refilled and that fixed that. for some reason you let them get too low and they will leak, don't know why and this is the first time i have let a tank get that low as i generally as a rule refill at half way down on my T3s and other clearos and tanks.

looks too small in there for me to be messing around with rebuilding it. BTW the all stainless BDC looks great on the MVP2!!

Hi Paul! Your tuto on the Aerotank build is the best I've seen so far. Much better to have well focused pictures than a crappy OOF video (with oohs, aahs & yeeehas! interspersed for FX <vbg>) where hearing impaired ole geezers like me have to go tossing coins in the air (or runes in the ground) to find what gauge wire and number of turns are used. ;) And as you very well pointed out, Naut heads are nightmarish!
