I have my doubts they have it in stock since Aspire doesn't even have them. I tried to order from another vendor that said they were in stock and they later called me to say they weren't in stock. I went ahead and ordered a blue one from 101Vape.

well 101Vape is pretty good, should have it in a couple days. Jwraps already has wraps for the Plato if you need a different look.

I dont think Im going to do it because its unnecessary, but Im toying with buying another one from 101vape at that sale price.

I received the triton mini ni200 .15ohm coils today. Got one in right now.

It seems to vape fine, but I did encounter a problem.

When installing it in the chimney piece I find that when I screw down the arrestor (top screw down piece of the chimney section) and then screw in the coil as far as it will screw in, the entire cartridge is too long and the top portion that you screw into the mod sticks out. This is because the atomizer isnt screwed in as far as it needs to be. It also doesnt make a good seal. But I can see at the bottom end where the atomizer is screwed down it is screwed down all the way.

Ok after messing with it for a bit the only way I could make the cartridge fit properly into the tank is to back off the arrestor, then screw in the atomizer as far as it can screw in. The arrestor seems to block the atomizer from going in as far as it needs to. Note, I did try to just screw the arrestor on by just a thread and see if that would be enough clearance, but it still blocks the atomizer from screwing in as far as it needs to go to make the whole cartridge fit properly.

Ok so to make it work the arrestor cannot be screwed down at all. This doesnt seem right by viewing all photos I could come up with. It does seem to vape ok but the chamber is not sealed this way.

I did not have this issue using the VVTF RBA. This is most likely the first and last nautilus/triton mini coil that will be installed anyway. I was just curious about the ni200 coils. Its ok but not as good as the RBA IMO.

Heres what it looks like installed. If someone has had success installing the triton mini coils in the Plato let me know.

There doesn't appear to be a way to lock the device to prevent accidental changing of settings without going into stealth mode?
That is what the "stealth" mode is for. But, I mean really, stealth? Just the screen shuts off but nothing can hide the fact that you are holding a Mod in your hand. Who are ya kidding. It's not like the screen would be bright enough to let people know from across a room. I guess they had to call it something.

I've had the Plato for a couple of days now. I didn't much care for the Nautilus coil as I got no flavor. The other coil, which they call Kanthal Clapton 0.4 ohm is much better, I do get some flavor (but nothing like the Crown tank, which IMO is uber-superior in flavor). I suppose I'll try some Triton mini coils but what I really want is an RBA for it.

I have no leaking whatsoever and it's really easy to fill and refill from the top rubber stop hole. Things only get messy when you have to switch out a coil, because you have to take the whole mechanism out and apart, which is quite unique I might say. But thank goodness we don't have to switch out coils often.

The only thing I could easily live without is the ejuice window. You can't see the juice level...and it's just a cut in the metal that catches your fingers now and then. Not a big deal really, but just a minor irritation.

The Plato just works and works well. It's a lot of fun to use and it's got some good audio feedback (hiss). It's also a very good-looking Mod. :)

Just got to convince Aspire to make us an RBA for it.

What do you mean by a restricted hit?
Airflow wise it is more MTL than DTL which we all knew. I also found the included Nautilus/Triton Mini coil flavor muted as you stated in your review above. Basically, I think we agree. Still waiting on NI200 coils from FT.

I like the 0.4 ohm Plato clapton coil but with no TC options available in this config I find myself asking why.

That's disappointing about the Triton Mini Ni200 because they're 'supposed' to fit.

Anybody else have a problem with these coils?

-----
What Tpat591 said.

They fit I just couldent get the top screw down (arrestor) to screw down once i had the coil screwed into the chamber. No one else has had this issue. It vaped fine the way I had it. Definitely MTL coils though, not direct lung

Got my Plato today and I must say I'm impressed with it. Has anyone updated their Plato to the new firmware yet? The only file I can find that loads into the installer is called YJT_50_20160406_havedata_2_language_V04.bin. Every time I try to upgrade with this file the software crashes, so I'm thinking it's not the right file.

The idiots actually removed Ti Mode from Plato in this firmware update rather than manufacture Ti Coils? Seems we will never see SS support coming.

Are they really that stupid that they are going to cripple the capabilities of the device in pursuit of refusing to take advantage of upscale marketing opportunities they would gain by introducing Ti & ss coils for the device?

They are a coil manufacturer right? Are they ......ed too? Might as well take this pos and throw it in the garbage!
