PBC TANK Problem solved.

I have several and they work so good as far as problems. But, flavor is just a lot better for me with the Nautilus BVC.

Anyway, I posted yesterday about my next testing steps and I cleaned a tank last night. So, this morning I made sure that all parts went together with some firmness. I closed the air hole as a new consideration. I filled the tank, put the bottom back on and turned it over and say the air bubble. Because It was a clean coil, I just let gravity get the juice into the coil for a minute. I put the tank onto the MOD, opened the air hole and took a small vape. It leaked out of the air hole. So, disassembly/assembly is not the problem.

Next tank will get a 3rd party BVC coil. Anyway, I blew through the tip with a paper towel and things are fine. I just have to wait for another tank to empty.

I had the same problem with Frenchfry1942, and that is with the original nautilus, then I got fed up and purchased a clone to test it out..the problems seems to be the same but lesser on the clone. The last resort was I guessed that the top part where the threading is does not seat properly with the center post therefore creating leaks into the tube while vaping..it gets so bad that it leaked thru and down out from the air hole. The concept is actually its like plumbing...but for plumbing they will have to put the white tape over the threading then screw it on and will make it leak proof on the pipes. For this since its so small I do not use the white tape but what i use is silicone grease..just a very very small amount on to the bvc head threadings bottom part and top part only and not out to the part where it gets contact with eliquid (or not you will be vaping part liquid and part silicone which is not good). After applying the bottom threads i screw it to the base. Then i will apply to the top of the bvc head threads, fill in and screw them down, aligning them properly..I have been doing this each time i fill them and the gurgling is gone and will only have some minimal gurgling sometimes but just a few puff then let it sit for few minutes, its gone...hope this will help some of you who has very bad gurgling...cheers

This is an old thread, but I've heard the same story many times here. So does anyone think that Kanger or Aspire has marketing people who start threads like this? Or is it just new vapers that don't know what they're doing? It's most likely just that the people who post are the ones who have the problems and those of us who just vape away happily just read this stuff and think...glad it's not me. I've been happily vaping away for 6 months now and haven't had any problems that I need to share or gripe about. But I want to say that I've read a LOT of posts here so maybe I've avoided the pitfalls of vaping.

BUT, I almost bought a Nautilus when everyone around here was loving the new BVC and now it seems all I hear is bad news. I'm almost tempted to buy one off of the classifieds (if people post them reasonably for once) just to see what the hell is going on. Until then I'll just puff away on my Aerotank V2 and be happy even tho I've read all kinds of bad stuff on kanger tanks also.

I thnk that people just like to complain

I've been vaping forever, so there is no newbie factor, and I only wished I worked for somebody right now! Nope, just an ordinary peep who was the recent receiver of a full sized Aspire nautilus, so complaining wasn't on the agenda, just looking for help. It was a gift from a bud I live with, and he ordered one too. His is perfect, mine has issues. The first half tank is awesome, after that, sporadic issues galore... leaking flooding burning, you name it. Tried every fix I've read about, but no luck, so I get to use half a tank and refill. Funny thing is, we got it for it's capacity, and can't use it. Luck of the draw with assembly line production I guess, but it sucks and really pisses me off that no one wants to be accountable and the consumer eats the loss. I have a slew of "work arounds", but for what it cost him, it should just freaking work, period. If you don't get that, well...'nuff said!

Thank you!! Was having issues with my full size as well and just put it down. Have an RMA to return it, but tomorrow will try some of the things I've read here to see if they help. Love the flavor and the capacity, but I want to fill and vape. So for now have just gone back to my aspire bdc. Love this thing.

Hey folks,
try this:

I've experimented with the Aspire Nautilus BVCs a bit, and so far, these are my 2 euro-cents:

- Wattage/Voltage - start low, go up. Like your career at McDonalds.

- Ohms - Use what you can get, They're good coils. For me, the 1.6 Ohm coils wick and deliver better than 1.8s. Hit and miss on coils probability remains, but the coils are not french, so they'll not surrender. Bad (you would think) coils work fairly well on low wattage.

- Gurgling - no over-saturation of juice (the wicking material is very dense), just 1) condensate in the chimney and drip-tip (the Mini has a conical shaft under the drip tip, and that is good, the condensate can flow back to the coil), 2) condensate below the coil in the air control piece (. Solution - take apart, wipe, assemble. High-W puffs, chain-vaping means more condensate. Wipe more often. High-VG+water liquids - more condensate than 50/50s.

- Dry hits - coil prep and primer puffs are crucial. 2 drops in the coil before use, put some in the air-holes too (BVC 101 basics) and time. For example, took a fresh 1.6 today with Bunny's OB, prepped it, after 15min on 14W a dry hit. Waited 15min more, turned W down to 12W, 10 more primer puffs, all is good. Turned W up - puff away, 17 W slow lung hits on biggest air hole. Coil prep, people!!! They teach that in college, though.

- Puffs - try slow(-er) draws. On any air hole. You'll see. Ask your girlfriend.

- Juice consumption - consumes juice like the USA consume oil. Fill it up.

- Flavor - No idea, I think, after weeks of vaping I still have vapers tongue, but who knows. For me, better than the Kangers. Able to switch between flavors, but if you take this one, for example, your'e done. I don't know, what they put in there, but the flavor of other juices after this one just went AWOL. Be cautious using strong organic juice, if you don't know you'll like it. Have a spare coil in the glove department of your Kia. ( I haven't tried RBAs).

- Coil life - ok, this one depends on your budget. If you can, change the coil after a week or if you just don't feel satisfied. For the sake of experimenting I soaked mine in water and vodka - no use. The vapor's there, but the flavor diminishes like our hopes and dreams.

There you go.
