I started using a nautilus Mini around early June....over the ensuing couple months I noticed more and more hairs in my towel after drying off after a shower and even more after blowdrying. Usually around 25 or so.....I also noticed more hairs that had fallen out on my every day areas that I frequent(keyboard, counter, etc). I searched a couple weeks back to see if anyone had the same problem and came up empty...I eventually just chocked it up to getting old(37), even tho hair loss does not run in the family.

3 weeks ago, the battery on my nautilus rig dies and I end up buying one of the kanger subox setups for a good price. It's been 3 weeks now and the hair loss has been slowing down, enough to the point to where it is normal where I remember it before getting the naut mini in June.

I don't live on these forums and my search-fu may not be up to snuff....has anybody else created a thread on this? I haven't changed anything enough this summer to warrant me leaning in any other direction for the hair loss other than the nautilus Mini.

I heard a lot of complaints about things over the years but vaping and hair loss is a new one to me . I can assure you hair loss is not one of the Nautilus mini's side effects .

Not a bad idea to think about a possible link to your personal hygiene products like shampoo , gels, sprays etc.. maybe even the acidity of the water where you shower but you can safely rule out the Nautilus .

Excessive nicotine can cause hair loss, in laboratory animals. You might want to lower you nicotine levels to see if that might help.

The other common cause of hair loss is alopecia. It's usually a spot (or more) that grows in size, but can start as general overall hair loss. The cause of alopecia is your bodies immune system attacks your hair follicles for unknown reasons. There isn't anything you can do about alopecia, but just wait it out to see if that spot recovers (except to let your hair grow long to help cover the spot). If that spot recovers, the hair will start coming back with no pigment in it. It may stay that way, or it may slowly get the pigment back.

Sadly, I've had the same issue as the OP. I started with general hair loss, my doctor (who recommends vaping over smoking) sadly recommended going back to analogs for awhile to see if that might clear it up, as he and myself have found that it's easy to OD on nicotine via vaping, but not so much so with analogs.

Then a small bald spot showed up (about the size of pea), which eventually grew to the size of a silver dollar. That's when we realized that I was dealing with alopecia.

But as always, CHECK WITH A DOCTOR with any changes of your body.
