i have had my new mini nautilus for 3days and i have to say that i am extremely disappointed after all the hype i feel really let down! my aerotank v2 and mega out perform this tank in my opinion in every aspect especially in reliability!! all i get is dry hits and yes before you say i primed these things till my face was blue!! also i cannot vape above 8 watts or i get a serious dry hit!! i have tried gentle drawing still no good! new coil let it sit over night was good for about 3 hours then loss of flavor, dry hits etc!.. i have had my aerotanks for months and not had a single dry hit or loss of flavor!!! no priming needed!! my pg/vg ration is 55/45

MY OPINION DO NOT BUY THIS HYPED UP PIECE OF JUNK!!! KANGER ALL THE WAY FOR ME!!!

Can say for most of your issues but the nautilus and the mini are not high power attys as you very well may know. my big one I run a 11 watts max or I get god awful burning of my juice but below that I love the vapor and flavor they put out.

just checked my code and it is not a fake.. all authentic

My Nautilus started the same gurgling and flooding thing not long after it was new. What caused it was a crack in the top thread of the glass tank. I didn't notice it until I started inspecting closely. I started to remove the top cap and it moved a little and jammed. Then, I noticed a crack in the glass under the threads. I finally got the cap off by moving it back and forth gently until it started to turn. There was a crescent shapped chip in the glass that rotated and jammed into the silicone seal.

I replaced the Pyrex tank at the local B&M for $7.99 and that fixed the gurgling. Loss of vacuum lets it drip slowly into the coil.

right after alot of investigation into my nautilus.. i have come accross some differences mainly with the box.. instead of the greyish colour interior with aspire written onto it..that i have seen on many youtube videos, i have a velvety sort of interior in jet black.. also on the back of my box there is a spelling mistake it say prodiced instead of produced.. but my verification code works any ideas on this guys?

I'd say you have a copy there. The known authentic one I bought has a jet black interior and no spelling errors on the back. Here's a snap of the back: One can only assume the cloners have figured out Aspires algorithm which stinks!

EDIT: Ahh shoot - you meant the mini, my bad. Just grabbed my mini box and there is no spelling error. And the tray is grey paperboard with aspire embossed on it.

That's a fake. It's been reported that Aspire's verification codes have been compromised. The misspelling on the back and internal packaging of your unit indicate it is not genuine.

Probably explains the sub-par performance you've experienced. For grins, I'd put a genuine BVC coil in it and see how it does.

edit: in thinking more about the verification code... all the counterfeiters need is one legitimate code (or several) to print on their boxes. I'd be curious to see how many of the fakes have the same code.

You can see that the typeface of the word "Nautilus" is not right, for starters. The real one is narrower.

That would be spotted as the aspire tool tells you how many times that code has been checked. So if you recheck your code it'll say that it has been checked 1 times before. That is exactly what they did the first time. Now if this fake isn't displaying that the hash has been compromised. That creates a very bad problem for Aspire and sellers. They can change their hash for a new security code formulation. BUT if they do that all of the legit Nautilus' and coils in stock will now be marked as fakes.

I'm not pleased with my nautilus either. It Vaped ok while it was working, although it was never quite the amount of vapor I was expecting. The top cap popped off one day while I was at work. That left it broken and unusable. Haden't even had it more than a couple months. Took it apart and gently hammered the top cap back on, but now it leaks from the bottom. No idea why.
I'm just done with it. Getting a second kayfun to take to work now.
Can't say I've found a single clearo that's worth the money I paid for it. Too bad!

Popped off? They are screw on. Or do you mean the top popped off from the center stack? If that's the case I have a spare (broke the 510 connector off the base when I dropped my APV that you're welcome to if you just cover the $2 to mail it. :)

^ This, its literally impossible for the top of the nautilus to 'pop off' without being unscrewed, unless, i suppose, you broke the glass or you were using the custom SS tank that you buy separately.

That's what I thought, until I re-checked the codes on my mini and several packs of BVC coils. Not once did the tool tell me how many times the codes had been checked previously. I'm using the tool located at the bottom of the aspirecig.com home page.

Wow, its actually popped the press fit or just sheared off...crazy.

How old is the tank? Any chance the vendor will work with ya?

Sounds like Maruad has the solution to your problem (reading it as he has an extra top cap-chimney piece) or you can get the steel nautilus tanks in a few different looks that would make it useable again.
