Hello, I saw this discussion on "The Five" on Fox News. My only concern is that all, including Greg Gutman, were using the word "smoking" for the act of inhaling vapor. Greg should have known better having quit smoking by vaping. I can excuse the others. I explain simply to people who are unaware of the difference in this way: "Your tea kettle emits vapor. Your fireplace emits smoke. Your hot shower emits vapor. Your camp fire emits smoke." There's all kinds of every day comparisons that can be used to make it easier for people who do not vape or smoke understand the difference.......:)

Didn't know DC banned e-cigs at the work place. I vape in my office during my 3-4 hours conference calls.

I'm on the same boat as you. I work in a bridge to Canada where CBP always yell at truck drivers to not vape indoors, but I sit here in my office and vape all day without issue.
Also, my boss loves that I vape. Less time spent away from the desk!

True, mountainbikermark, for those who ARE interested in this new form factor. However, majority of people out there haven't a clue 'cause they're not looking into it. To them smoking is smoking. Meaning burning tobacco. I'm just trying to get these people to visualize vapor in every day occurances so they won't be so alarmed when they see someone vaping. :)

Yes, Greg Gutfeld. Never good with names and getting old doesn't make it better.

That happens 1 conversation at a time. I too had to educated at first but now I am the one passing forward the education . In person or by links as proof on the web, it happens 1 at a time.
I've also found the closed minded are content being so and to attempt to educate them before they're ready to listen is urinating in the wind. Getting Greg's last name wrong is more important to the closed minded than whether or not e cigarettes are the same as tobacco ones. They'll not listen to a word after seeing the misspell. The person trying to quit analogs cares more about what works than the proper terminology until their mind is opened past the need to quit.
Greg Gutfeld has a certain following of varying backgrounds, sort of like folks that love comedy and politics while not taking life so seriously. They probably got a laugh at his misuse of the terminology and some, such as myself, may even wonder if he didn't mispeak by accident . If it keeps the conversation going and makes people talk about the subject, though it morphed , then that'd be right up there with his twisted way of doing things. If a person accidentally learns e cigs are a healthier alternative both personally and to those around then Greg's point was accomplished.
I'd be willing to bet there are over 10k Americans that believe, or would believe, president Abraham Lincoln was the first to say "don't believe everything you read on the internet". Until their mind opens up just a little, trying to disprove that belief is a waste of time.

Walmart has banned vaping in the store? I walk around and vape discreetly there and no one, including the floor workers has ever given me a second glance. Not once has another customer expressed even a stare in my direction.

In the Fox video Greg talked about the 2 pack per cartridge claim. I don't buy that, but he said he got the nicotine shakes from his, so maybe his were unusually high nic level mixes. Back when I was saturating my Smoktech cartos with 24mg juice there were no nic OD symptoms, but everyone's different.

This week I went to visit my mom in the morning at the elder care facility she's in and realized I also had a meetinbg there in the afternoon. I decided to leave get lunch and return for the meeting. I stopped at a bar I never went to before. It was non smoking and nobody was vaping so I waited until after I ate before considering asking. I still had a half of the beer I had with lunch and really didn't want to ask so I stealth vaped. There were people on both sides of me, one chair away. Nobody even noticed. Inhale and hold for 5 seconds or so and you don't even see the vapor.

DC has not done so yet. I testified at the public hearing of the DC health committee. They voted to table the proposed law until the report comes in from the University of Maryland regarding what's in exhaled vapor.
