Alcohol beverage companies made estimated $17.5 billion on underage drinking, study says

An estimated $17.5 billion of beer and liquor sales in the United States in 2016 was consumed by minors, with the products of three companies -- AB InBev, Molson Coors Beverage Co. and Diageo -- accounting for nearly 45% of underage youth consumption, a new study found.

Well, looks like we need another Save the Children campaign. Here is a wild idea: Ban all those flavors like chocolate beer and hard lemonade that are the real (and only) cause of the problem and it will all go away.....

Nothing wrong with a well crafted chocolate stout. I have to take that off the ban list.

I remember hearing/seeing allowing flavored alcohol as an argument point constant these past many years when ever vaping flavor bans come up. Because everyone knows flavors only appeal to children. Why don't they do a study on the effects of fresh air sunshine and wildflowers on children.

probably those kids staying home and supervised more during covid shut downs.

Yeah, I think tobacco and mint flavored beers should be the only ones allowed. That's a logical fix.
