I have been vaping with the smokers outside in the heat. I know I could probably ask if I could vape in the breakroom, but the "smoker's shed" is a lot closer to the time clock. I've been getting luke warm reception from the smokers. Most don't notice (or pretend the don't, not sure how they can miss the blue led or the fact that I drip/refill in front of them.)

Anyhoo, I decided that I would show my e cig to the HR rep because I know she smokes (but smokes on the other side of the building - close to her office.) she told me that she quit for 10 months and started up again. I showed her my Blu and vaped in her office. She thought it was the coolest thing! She stopped one of the managers who came in and asked if he'd ever heard of e cigarettes to which he replied "I have one." Apparently he uses Cigeasy. He asked what my bottle of e-liquid was for.

"So I can refill my cartridges for cheaper."

"Oh, I didn't know you could refill them."

This was probably the best response I have gotten so far. My HR rep said she wanted to put an article about e cigarettes in the store newsletter! When I see her next, I'll give her the url for ECF.

Nice! I have a lot of the smokers at work curious as to how well it's going to work, they know I've been struggling recently to stop smoking, and they all have as well.
I may turn it into a building full of vapers ;)

I did that at my job, but everyone else is back on the cigs... kinda lame. :(

Great job in spreading the word. You may notice more smokers paying attention after you have been vaping for awhile. So many people have only been exposed to the rip-off ecigs that I think they assume it is a short-lived fad. Once people have seen me successfully using it long-term, they seem more interested.

My part-time retail job (with a large retail chain) had a smoking room in the back. As of July 5th, indoor smoking was banned in Wisconsin businesses. I mentioned I used an electronic cigarette and the HR person said several people there also use those (I just started there) but the company was banning those inside, as well. :(

Unfortunately, like in my case, people still want to complain about the "smell" of the PV. most in my office really don't mind and like the smell, but one person (who loves to douse himself in cologne) is 'disturbed' by the smell of the 'smoke'. Apparently not everyone likes the smell of Snickerdoodle cookies! While he is in the office, I was asked to step out to vape. Luckily, he is only here for one or two days a week. The rest of the days I can vape inside.

People like this make my blood boil. They look for ways to be offended and only focus on the negative. Time to get a life and stop worrying about others actions:)
