Sorry K! Been traveling the past two weeks and haven't had the chance to build stuff. I ran my last build through several tanks and worked great. Since it didn't take many watts to build the heat the battery life was a normal two days on the VF.

My thought is the ceramic cups would hold more heat in meaning it would require less power and more likely to have temp protection issues. I have better performance with Ni200 on the EVIVA than with a kayfun. Both from flavor and less issues with Ni200.

Hey K, after careful testing and review...

The Eviva with the ceramic cup lasted 4.5tank fills
The Eviva with the SS cup lasted 4 tank fills

In conclusion the difference is negligible as far as battery life.

Disclaimer: this experiment was not highly scientific, it was conducted while playing many hours of Destiny...

We never try so i cant guarantee for the final result.
Anyway as you can see in the pic the tank is clear enough to see what going on inside (also with clear juices)

If the base was 180 degrees turned the little grub screw would not screw, because there is not a hole to screw from the other side (180 degrees. There are 3 holes in the base (from the side), the two are for airflow into the atomiser and the third (the one between the other two) is for stabilization of the base into it's position.

After removing the grub screw holding the deck to the base, what do you do next to remove the deck?

After that:
1. Unscrew the center pin screw.
2. Turn the Eviva upside down (with the tube in the base) and hit gently with a drill inside the 510 thread

At last keep in mind that the housing has one oring (10*1) which doesnt leave the liquid to pass inside Eviva base. So if you want to disassemble it in order to wash it, i think that you dont have to.

Thanks, i want to take it apart to see what's going on with the air flow. When i look at one air hole i can see through to the other side but it's not completely clear. When i try to pass a small paper clip through it gets stuck and does not exit the other end. I believe it should pass right through correct?
