If the base was 180 degrees turned the little grub screw would not screw, because there is not a hole to screw from the other side (180 degrees.There are 3 holes in the base (from the side), the two are for airflow into the atomiser and the third (the one between the other two) is for stabilization of the base into it's position.

After that:
1. Unscrew the center pin screw.
2. Turn the Eviva upside down (with the tube in the base) and hit gently with a drill inside the 510 thread
At last keep in mind that the housing has one oring (10*1) which doesnt leave the liquid to pass inside Eviva base. So if you want to disassemble it in order to wash it, i think that you dont have to.
