Dude, don't give up on the Diver just yet. I am a complete noob and i have got it working (my kayfun is redundent now!). You need to apply a lot of pressure when seating the ceramic cup in the base, you should feel it slide in by about 1-2mm. I was also afraid i was going to break the ceramic! Once the ceramic is seated invert it put in the brass pin turn back over so that the pin is facing down and then press it against a hard surface. Hope it works out for ya :)

Woke up this morning to a leaking diver. Man, this thing is just not meant to be for me. I have done all the recommendations. When I watch all these videos, I don't see anyone applying that much force. Im going to give another go, and either seat the cup or break it.

Edit: after inspecting the parts, my ceramic has been touching the plastic piece in the diver base. You can see where the two have been making contact. I then stuck the pin back into the cup, and it is bottoming out at the step where it is supposed to. There is no where else for the pin to go, so it doesn't matter how hard I push at this point. The only way this pin is going to seat, is to sand down the ledge on the pin so it can go further into the cup so that it can reach the plastic on the 510 side at the bottom.

The only things I can think of, is despite the ball valve in your Billet Box tank, there is still enough pressure to flood the Diver when filling. Or perhaps, you are over-filling the tank. If you have another carto-tank, I suggest trying it in there, or only filling your Billet Box tank 3/4 full...

Quick question: how many ceramics do you have? I've built a bunch of coils in CE2 ceramics for my eBDP and my incoming Divers. The 6 ceramics I was rotating worked perfectly. Then one of the other 20 ceramics would not go into the eBDP properly. No matter what I did, the thing would not stay in, it would remain loose and float a couple of millimeters above where it should be, and was a bit loose and jiggle. I assumed the eBDP pin and base were not configured properly, so I took it apart and re-assembled it. No change. I figure, screw it, let's vape it. LOL. Not sure what was better, the taste of burnt vulture flesh that should have been Mewlew's Magic or the frequent E8 errors on my Provari.

Tossed the ceramic, and moved on.

fraghole can u put easily the pin into the Diver base without the ceramic?

Yes, but then when I put the cup in, it doesn't seat on the plastic piece in the base because the bottom of the cup's shaft reaches the pins ledge, and stops before the cup can seat. Then if you push the cup until it seats on the plastic, the pin gets pushed back out of the bottom. I can seat one, or the other, but not both.

Here is another way of explaining it, if I put the pin in cup until it stops, and measure from the seating surface of the pin to the seating surface of the cup. That distance is larger than the distance between the two seating surfaces of the plastic piece in the base. It seems like the overall length of my plastic piece is too short, or something with the pins or cups is too long.

I'm going to try modding one of my pins and see if that works. The flavor, and vapor output is amazing with the diver, so I hope to get it working, not giving up, and i still hate cartos:D

PS: I got your email, and thank you. I really appreciate your efforts. That means a lot.

Did you try screwing the base on an ego or some other mod after inserting the screw like I suggested? There's no way the pin can come out if the base is on a mod. Then press the cup on a flat surface. The cup must be sitting on the base straight for it to seat properly. You have nothing to lose if the cup breaks. They are cheap. Kudos for not giving up. :)

Just got my first Diver, walked across the street from the office to pick it up. Proceeded to scrub it down and (naturally) ruined the pre-made coil it came with*. Plugged in one of the 3847934279 ceramics I had prepared, screwed it onto my Provari and vaped a few drops of Maha Ras... crushed it. Very very nice.

* I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has trouble joining R/NR with a Zapper-like device! So many of these fall apart, but it is still easier than knots...

Good job, Konstantinos. Hopefully, another happy Diver.

On another note, my Grail, Diver, Tapas, and Driver were released from the ISC NY and are headed my way. Strange how sometimes it's fast and sometimes they keep packages a long time.

Yeah, customs seem to do just whatever the hell they feel like don't they? I have had packages clear in a minute, then I have had them take nearly a week.

I once had two packages from Greece come in to ISC NY at the same time and one left immediately and the other left five days later.

Ordered Wednesday the 10th, shipped Friday the 12th, with Canadian customs on the 16th and expected tomorrow??? Did you guys send this over on a mythical winged creature of some description? 5 days from ship date to delivery? In all my many orders of vapemail that is unheard of. Even from US suppliers. Only shame is I won't be here tomorrow to sign for it :(

Good thing it's for my girlfriend not me!
