anyone using a Phiniac tank with the Diver? i'd like to hear your experience :)

Yes, I am. It works great in a Phiniac tank. You want to use a carto tool like a slap-yo-mama so you don't rip up the orings. These tanks have a real tight seal so it maintains the pressure inside the tank which the Diver likes.

I've killed 3 orings on my Phiniac tanks. Can't seem to get them back in place once I've taken them out either.

As much as I adore my sandblasted tanks, I've been slowing switching over to OCD tanks.

I've never had to replace the orings in my Phiniac tanks. I think that's because I use a tank tool. Some of my tanks are a year old.

If you've taken out an oring and then tried to replace it with the same oring it's probably stretched and won't go back in very easily or seal properly. New orings shouldn't be hard to replace.

I had the slap-yo-mama before Phiniac came out with theirs so I haven't tried theirs. It probably works the same as the slap-yo-mama and is cheaper.

that's kinda what i was thinking, six of one sort of thing... i'm going to order a rotty tank with his name on it! can't wait! thx everyone for all your help :)

I am really at my wits end. Flavor, good. No dry hits. No flooding. But with THIS coil the vapor isn't there. Same ready coils as last build and same juice, GVC.

Here's what I did last night.

Ready wire wrapped on 2mm silica doubled over. Used a 5/64" drill bit to wrap. All the resistance wire touched silica along with a little NR. Turned out to be a 4 wrap coil. Check on ZMAX at 1.6ohm. Coil hears up fast, from the middle.

I'm having a really bad vaping day.

I guess I'm going to try the 2mm single wick tonight.

Any other ideas?

I think you must try in a higher voltage

GP Paps with a fresh battery off the charger. On my VV mod its at 3.9 volts.

That should be enough to give good vapor production on a 1.5ohm coil, right?

And nothing changed from the las coil which gave me awesome vapor production.

wow, that is odd. I'm getting monster vapor using the 1.5ohm NR-R-NR premade coils @3.5 volts.
1. Check to Make sure the top part of the diver is screwed all the way into the atomizer base
2. Check to Make sure the diver air hole is not being blocked by the ceramic

I too get monster vapor from all my Divers.. And I mean fog machine type vapor..

The only other thing to check other than what H2O mentioned is perhaps the coil is wrapped to loosely on the wick..

I'd assume you'd be getting gurgling and or flooding if it were my solution or H2O's solution though..

Yeah. Im good with one and two. But maybe the coils is wrapped TOO loose. Maybe I will try the single 2 or 3 mm silica and use a paperclip or 1/16" drill bit.
