Waiting for your pics...Andy are u there?

Good evening, Konstantinos.

My Grail and other items were released from the NJ USPS sorting center, yesterday. It was held in customs for some 7 days, which is the longest I have seen. I may get it by Saturday.

For 1.5Ohm u can use:
non/r 0.20mm
resistance nichel-chrome 0.17mm or kanthal 0.18mm
wick 2.00mm
Hi Konstantinos,
hope you well.
I've put in place today your instructions for wick/coil for Diver.
Wick by 2mm, n/r 0,20-r 0,18-n/r 0,20, 3 turns gives 1,5 ohms. Measured the resistance before wrapping the coil.
Very good
Thanks francesco

I am loving the Scuba. I'm still getting used to the Diver. I've made mistakes which have led to some minor flooding (but I could still vape, just the gurgling was annoying). Turns out my ceramic had shifted as I played around with it.

I am finding that anything greater than doubled 1mm Ekowool doesn't work quite as well. 2mm Ekowool is actually thicker than 2mm silica, plus the ends fray as you build and install.

And it looks great on my new Lux.

Torch the ecowool before you cut it then the ends won't fray.

I do. It reduces fraying, but doesn't eliminate it. Still works perfectly. But I tried to build using 3mm - which I use single-strand in my eBDP ceramics - and that led to all kinds of clown humor.

TM is absolutely right. Using 1-4mm and always torching I have no fray issues. Are you using a hand torch? If not find one on ebay or hit up the box stores for a Burnzomatic. They come in handy for everything. If you are looking to torch a hole in your MacBookPro screen while reading ECF, this is a must have :)

When the water is too cold to go Scuba diving with the Diver, what do I do?

Well, I turn to the Grail with a Tapas drip tip.

Well done, Konstantinos, my friend. You folks at Atmistique have afforded me another wonderful device. I love the way it looks with the Tapas drip.

I like the flexibility, which the Grail gives the Diver. As one whom enjoys a dripping atty, I appreciate the option.

Happy Diving, my fellow Divers.

Just another heads-up for those who do not like wrapping NR / R wire.. Stormy just received some lower ohm ready-wires in.. Added were 1.2, and 1.5 ohms..

Ready Wire for Coils- NEW LR

Been looking at those, see they mention it uses Nikrothal for the R wire.... Trying to get more info on that type of R wire as i do not see it used much (or at least mentioned) with RBA's.
