I have requested "A" and they are thinking about it but they haven't been selling enough Divers to justify the expense yet. I don't think many people know they carry the Diver yet.

"B" they have tried to get the non-flanged Diver but they are hard to come by.

I would like to amend my post. I asked Phiniac if they could make a recessed bottom cap for the flanged Diver and they did think about it and made a prototype which I am testing as I type. The Diver fits perfectly flush with the bottom cap and no leaks, not that I expected any from a Phiniac tank. So now they are waiting on the machine shop and will have some recessed caps as soon as they are done. Know that these caps will only fit on Phiniac tanks or tanks with the same ID.

I have Phiniac's and Konstantino's permission to mention Phiniac info about the Diver.

Releaser of the KRAKEN
Ok. I can't for the life of me get the ceramic cup out of the base to put a new coil in.

Any tips and/or recommendations are welcome.....soon.

put a little juice between the cup and adapter ... continue to twist, wiggle and pull at the ceramic cup.

Still can't the damn thing out. Starting to piss me off a little.

My way is a bit extreme but I've successfully done it several times because I can never get the cup out with my fingers. I use a round flat rubber bottle opener to grip the base and then use a pair of pliers  to pull the cup out. The trick is to place the pliers so they close at the base of the slotted side in the cup. If you do it the other way you'll break the cup at the slots. I don't twist much because that can break the ceramic post. I just twist very slightly and pull and it comes right out.

Do this at your own risk. :p

Use a tiny flathead jeweler screwdriver and gently pry the pin out..

Thats what I do when I get a tuff one..

That was going to be my second suggestion but that usually doesn't work for me.

You could try putting a hook in a large paperclip and wriggling the pin out too. For me, the pin is just as hard to get out as the cup.

Ok. Got it after ripping up both my thumbs.

Thanks all.

And I can't build a coil worth a crap. If I send someone 45 ready wires and silica would they build some coils for me?

I'll let them keep 10 ready wires.

Any takers?

It really isn't that hard. Have you watch YouTube vids? There are tons of vids on how to wrap a coil.

Do you guys have a recommendation for a go-to store for nonres wire?
Have my Ekowool and Kanthal ready to go so this will be the missing piece in my rebuilding adventures.

Just want to make sure I buy stuff that is safe to vape with!

I also like medium ohms (around 2ish~), so 32 to 32 would be best, correct?

Google .999 silver dead soft and you should get a lot of hits. 32 ga is perfect.

You can use nickel too but I prefer silver myself.
