Looks overly complicated to me..
I will stick with the standard Diver setup as my Divers rock just the way they are..
It's one of the things I love about the Diver. Simple, efficient and it just flat out works as it's suppose to.

Got my delivery slip from the PO for my first Diver. Very excited, tonight will be fun building and testing...
I am really hoping that it breathes some life back into my Lava tanks. I only have 2 left, and the lavagen doesn't quite do it for me.
Any tips or advice using the diver with a one piece top cap type tank?

Is the drip tip and top cap all one piece? To fill do you remove the entire top cap?
Yes indeed. I realize this will cause some inherent difficulties when filling, however I have heard people have had good results.

The only tips I can give are the ones I have already mentioned.. They are important to having a trouble free Diving experience..
1) Make sure the juice hole is centered between the wick ends
2) Make sure the wick ends are not to long. They should not touch the threads of the base.
3) Make sure the ceramic is well seated into the base and that the pin fits tightly into the ceramic
4) Only fill the tank to about 80% max
5) Some tanks (sans Scuba) require the juice hole to be outside of the tank when filling to prevent leaks

Guys, need your help please. I found a ceramic cup into which the pin fits really tightly. The problem is that now i can't take the cup out. It's stuck fast and i don't want to take a pair of pliers to it for fear of breaking it. I saw atmistiques video on how to remove the cup but this thing is really stuck. Any suggestions?

Well my first night with the diver was a success. I decided to build my own coil and leave the stock one as a spare for now. Not quite getting the vapor production i am used to, but my coil ended up just a bit higher resistance than usual.
It works pretty good with the lava tank, but the flange will have to go when I can find some time with my dremel. It is a bit long for the tank, but cartos are too. I will have to source a longer tube or make my own. I think I still have some polypropylene tubing around somewhere. It'd be nice if the pyrex tubes available were 1mm longer. Filling is a breeze:
- remove top cap and put on carto fill tool or delrin drip tip.
- slide tank up so juice hole is below bottom o ring
- fill and slide back down
- put top cap on just enough to create a seal
- turn upside down and press top cap all the way on.
In the long run I can see the diver/lava combo being part of my daily rotation. Thanks raqball for the tips!

Just try to unscrew slowly the pin or try to lift the pin from one side to other with small moves with a screwdriver
Just rebuilded my diver with the cracked ceramic cup, its even more broken now 
, and I build a microcoil with cotton and wrapped cotton around the hole coil, like a cartomizer.
And its working so freakin good right now, much better than a "regular" coil.
Remember to buy organic cotton withoutt chemicals and boil it. Or else it may taste like crap!

Since adopting the practice of filling to 70%, my SnP with Diver as no leaking as well as my Scuba. Therefore, this seems to be a universal rule of thumb - only fill to 70%. No need for any unusual Diver setups, just straight vanilla short wick and coil - although I will use the long wick in the chimney for added flavor.
Got mine in a couple of days ago. Picked up a diver and a grail. Haven't used the diver yet but have been rockin the grail. Using on a provari mini. Seems a little stiff in the draw from what I am used to. So I stuck an open 510 to 510 adapter on it and it breathes much better to me now. The flavor and vapor production is very good. It has gotten a bit gurgly on me but short lived w/ a couple of dry pulls.
I'm going to tinker with it some more in the near future. Really liking my new purchase thus far.!!!

Libman, try a Hippo v2 ring on it. It will open up the airflow much better and bling out the Provari as well.
