My (really bad) drawing was exaggerated for illustration. And I was also going off the pic from atmistique. From what I can see from your pics, there is a tiny bevel on the SS, and not on the brass, yes?

And the SS pin is a larger diameter than the brass, just to confirm.

Brass pin where the O rings sit is 2.31mm. Brass Head 3.75mm
SS pin where the O rings sit is 2.46mm. SS Head 4.2mm

Yes the SS pin head has a very small bevel on the under outside edge, there is no bevel on the brass head but I dont know which version of the brass pin I have.

Thanks! From K's post, sounds like you have the brass v1, and the SS v2.

I'm also going to experiment a bit this evening as well...I have a couple of ideas. A dangerous proposition, I know.

I already wrote some post before:
"i usually fill my Scuba tank with a halo needle. Its so fat and doesnt leaves space for air to come out. So when i fill it i just put in towel for a few seconds and thats all. If i fill it with a simple needle which leaves enough space for air, i dont need to use the towel"

Sorry to sound stupid but I don't understand what you mean by replace the down with 4 o rings

There is a plasticky bit in the 510 end of the Diver1 where the pin enters and the pin head seats against. Using a cocktail stick or such like, push it out of the threaded end by inserting stick from opposite end of driver base. From that point on, you will need four 2mm. x1.5mm. O rings that will be slid on to the positive pin just like the two on the Diver2. The 4 O rings will stay on the pin to take up the room where that plasticky thing was, and make the necessary seal. I have read that 4 was too many for one chap so he only used 3.

There is a plasticky bit in both ends of the Diver1, do not remove the one in the ceramic end

OK small update....

I just rebuilt my diver v2 again using the brass pin from my v1 diver. I put the 2 o rings on it. So far i've not had any leaking or gurgling. It's been 30 minutes which is a record. I'm getting amazing flavour and vapour. I don't know if this makes any difference but i also filled the tank differently. Instead of using the rubber valve i filled it from the top using a cartomizer filling tool.

I hope it's sorted.

It looks as if the v1 brass pin is the answer, at least as far as the billet box goes.

Thanks to all the clever people on here for their research and help.

That is exactly what I have found, No leaks overnight and vaping as good a vape as I have ever had. I am also filling from the top but I have not got a carto filling thingy so a bit of a delicate operation. Do you have a link to the carto filling tool here in the UK please.

ever since I put my V2 on my 69 mod which has an air control ring it doesn't flood and the draw is night and day better.... on my silver bullet the draw was a lot tigher and would flood once in awhile. hmmmmmm
This is true. For flood test; take filled tank with Diver in the hand and form a palm with fingers. Some people use this method for 1.filling of BOGE-Cartomizer. I believe, the air control of device works for atmospheric balancing, too.
