Good news, finally got some time from work to play and got my V2 Enezlis working in my Billet Box. Thanks to all here for the experimentation and advice over the last week.

I modified my SS pin by adding another air channel similar to the V1 brass pin and increased the size of the two air channels on the 510 connector. Threw a 3 ohm micro coil (32awg NR-R-NR) and some cotton wick in it. Had 2 drops out of the pin during filling using the tanks fill port (filled outside of the Billet Box), but none after that, and with 70/30 PG/VG she is vaping like a champ. No gurgles, floods, dry hits or leaks after 3/4 of the tank.

Thanks again to everyone here - you know who you are!!!!!

Awesome! Please update us after you've vaped through a few tanks.

Thought I would give an update on my experience with the Diver v2 with the v1 pin.

First tank. 1/16” 32g for both R & NR. 2.5 ohm... I got a little too much cotton in the coil, cause I would get the occasional dry hit. Airflow much improved. I did put a very small cylinder of paper towel behind the 510 connector at the back wall to help identify any leaks that might occur. Vaped it down to about the center of the juice slots.

Took the tank out. Sides and back of tank were soaked with juice. Brass ring on top also wet. Small cylinder of paper towel I had behind the 510 soaked. Bottom of tank? Dry! Pointed paper towel inserted into 510 also came out dry. So not the Diver.

Now, I think I might have a leaky BB tank. I did completely disassemble, clean and reassemble the tank before starting this tankful. Screws were tight, and it seemed to seal correctly. I know Greigster had a tank leak outside the BB...

Recoiled at 3.0 ohms...this time at 5/64“ sitting just above the cup. I am now vaping it on my Provari using the center portion of my Hippo as a 510 extender. Wicking much better. No dry hits. I'm seeing the occasional bubble, so good. Vaping at 5V. The reason for the setup is to see if my tank is leaky.

I'm noticing the usual small bit of vapor coming out of the Hippo air holes...hmmm...I wonder if the same vapor is coming out inside the billet box and, having not any other place to go, is condensing between the box and the tank.

It's almost always humid here in Dallas, even in winter, and could cause the vapor to condense more. Last night, I thought my new Kayfun Mini was leaking thru the airhole, but it was just the vapor condensing around the hole. If I turned it so the airhole was on top as I was vaping, I did not have the problem, as the vapor had more of a chance to escape into the atmosphere before condensing in the airhole.

I discussed this with Kataphraktos, and he told me he had the same experience with his BB/Diver just today...and he was outside today.

In BB, there are 3 slots cut on the main body (which allows air to come into the atty) that also blows out vaper from inside billet box.

I wonder if you guys are using the latest BB brass ring (the one that seals against the Diver/carto)? I am now using this one and so far, I've not seen the leak/condensation behind the tank. I changed the o ring on the brass ring to 6 mm x 1.5 mm o ring for more tighter seal. I'm seeing better result but not yet ready to hype it yet until I get few more tanks through this setup.

I did have flooding/leak inside the Diver V2 with this new setup but it was mostly contained with Diver with tiny bit on the positive contact. I'm using V2 pin.

I have the new brass ring, and I believe Akdare does as well.

Any flooding inside the Diver v2 is almost guaranteed to be due to insufficient wick. I find the two vents in the Diver should be almost completely covered with wick. The wick should not be packed tight but loose, to avoid dry hits.

I find cotton is the easiest to get right every time, as the density is easier to control.

I do have the new brass ring...just last night I took a close look at the stock o-ring on the diver outside of the box and noted it was a very loose fit...I will have to check my ever growing stock of o-rings to see if I have one that seals better.

Thanks for sharing, Vendetta...BTW...one of my all time favorite movies...

I snagged a BB the other day and once it arrives I can also jump into this BB and Diver testing frenzy.. Woohoo! More playing with the Diver!

I also snagged a V1 pin and will give both the V1 and V2 pin a run in the Diver.

Since my BB was just ordered I assume it will come with the new brass ring..

Chop, chop USPS I want it here yesterday!

I'll check the fit of the BB brass nut o-ring as well when I get a chance.

It could be that the old brass nut, which I'm pretty sure K & Co. are using based on when they got their BBs, might be a better fit for the v2 Diver.

That would be interesting if true..

Old brass BB ring = Works fine with V2 pin
New brass BB ring = Works best with V1 pin

Is the above correct?

I thought the new BB brass ring was specifically made for a better fit with the Diver V2, No?

Not sure if that is the case.

What we do know is the v2 pin is working well for some people, including K & Co. over in Greece. They got their BB before the new brass nut was in existence, and I assume they did not get the new brass nut. I bought a BB from the first batch that came with the new brass nut as default, and Dino started selling it separately in December.

It would be nice to associate brass nut versions with pin versions, but it is too early to tell.
