The Scuba tank from Atmistique has a recess in the bottom cap to accommodate the Diver's flange.

I'm not sure what you mean be recessed bottom caps but they are the same caps they have always used. Sorry if that's not what you are look for.
Nah...they won't cut it. There are cheap china ones out there but I've been using the Loki tanks from Atmomixani. I'll be getting a scuba soon.
I'll risk being branded an apostate and hung from the castle walls... the Diver uses the same CE2 ceramic as the eBDP. If the eBDP can be built without NR wire, shouldn't the same apply to the Diver? Or does resistance across the full wire in a much more confined space create too much heat? I know, I know, you cannot resist the non-resistance.
It can be built using only resistance wire but for maximum quality it is recommended you use Resistance and Non Rresistance wire.
On another note, the new Scuba tank... in the setup video on youtube... on a chrome Provari v2 like mine... with a Hippo ring like the one arriving any day now...

My tracking finally shows movement! It says it just left N.Y. As for my local post office claiming that they tried to deliver it yesterday, didn't happen. I was home all day. Anyhow, it looks like I should receive it any day now.

I have tried some German 1.5, 2, 3mm silica, XS-116/18 and the huge supposedly 3mm ekowool, in all the configurations i could think of and it floods and leaks through the hole in the pin.
I tried wrapping some 500 SS mesh around the cup in an attempt to slow down the transfer of the juice from the tank. I use High Caliber 50/50 juice which is pretty thick compared to other juices in the same percentage.
Right now i'm trying again the 1.5mm silica looped and wrapped around the outside of the ceramic cup in order to close the gap between the cup and the tube. So far no dry hits but i'm waiting for the sneaky juice to crawl down the center hole.
Maybe if i stare menacing at it, it won't do it.

Which tank are you using it in? Also make sure the ceramic is seated straight and tight in the base...
I've been using mine without NR wire since I've had it... The only thing I've noticed was a burn line on the ceramic. The base where the pin seats looks fine...
I use the NR wire on both my Divers and eBDP, as with the rest of my NR designed devices. It's a simple matter to make the wire assembly.

Vivi Nova's do not use NR wire, (similar type set up when rebuilding) and I use the same insulator over and over....
