Dan with your various coils have you found any meaningful correlations between coil colors when firing? Your pic looks white, not red.

Well that was a burnin on 4.5vdc for 2 seconds. It is a 2.2ohms coil and I took the pic at night so it appears brighter than it actually was :) On 3.7v it was red not white, so it should perform exceptionally well at 3.7v but would be way to hot at 4.5-5v
But when a similar coil that I am using when wet has no color change when firing unless I really hold it along time and burn off the juice.
This help any?

Yes it does. I was hoping to build a quicky, but the soldering you and KYFlyer67 did in the connector is beyond my shaky hands.

C'mon Dan, help the man out.... send him something.

Willy has contributed enough knowledge by now to be worthy of one of your newborns.... adoption is an honourable thing you know!

That is what those solder clamps are for, the ones with the magnifying glass on top, like 20 bucks at RS and you can use the opposing clips to align your work, then just heat and touch the solder to the parts. Trust me I am 47 and the eyes and hands are not all that stable. Heck for that matter neither is the mind LOL.

Dan, Start a new thread please.

Too much happy gunk happening right now. I think everyone is very excited about your new ideas. Let's put together a nice crisp technical thread on "how to's" and hopefully it will be "Stickie'd".

LOL, ok ok I will make a new thread entitled "How to make your own homemade atomizer" With all the step by steps, will take me a little while to produce as I want each step photographed and documented. Fair enough?
