Atomizers Seized By Customs?

I ordered 30 atomizers from BestECig. Nothing else, just atties.

Tracking the package shows that they were delivered to US customs 11 days ago.

Should I be paranoid about seizure yet? Is 11 days in Customs normal? It seems a little long to me but I have no idea how long their inspection can take. If they can take up to a month then I'll start worrying in a few weeks.

If they do get seized, will I get any notification, like a letter from Customs or something?

On one hand, my Best ecig orders have typically cleared customs in one day. On the other, I'd think you'd receive a seizure notice. Of course, it's the government we're talking about, so that notice might not come for another month or two.

I had a package of 30 atomizers that required 4½ days for clearance through customs at JFK.

all it means is that USPS dosnt update their tracking system..

it says in NY until a few hours after its delivered to the customers mail box.. for us its %100 normal.. we call this "lost" period the USPS black hole.. things always pop out but the time spent in the hole is unpredictable..

Every order from them has arrived in 5 days at most sometimes 3. Sounds grim.

I just received some floppy disks that play on my player piano. They left Canada 40 days ago. USPS tracking showed them stuck in Chicago for 35 days!

Still, hope you'll keep us abreast of your shipment. I'm about to order a bunch of BA112s from Best.

But 11 days? Even USPS isn't that bad.

I recently placed an order on 14th of this month, and it kept showing, that was incustoms, it was cleared from customs today, which took longer than I was expecting....

About 3 or 4 months ago there was an article on Yahoo about someone who sent a postcard across town... it was delivered a little late. About 54 years late. The person it was addressed to had passed away, but the person who sent it was still alive.

Hope you won't have to wait that long.

Eh, it's customs. Each and every order gets processed by an actual person so it can be as simple as they have no clue what to do. I had an order of hemp t-shirts and socks from AU sent to a store I was running once. When it got 'held' I just wrote it off after a couple months. Funny thing? They showed up like 6 MONTHS later. No notice, just out of the blue.

I placed an order 2 weeks ago that took a week to get here. It was a sampler package.

I just place a 1000ml order tonight.

As noted earlier in this thread, customs is not the culprit these days. It seems that USPS is getting behind due to the holiday. I ordered some batteries from Hong Kong on 11/28. They were through customs and handed to USPS on 12/7 - They finally arrived at the Santa Clarita sorting facility and stayed there 3 days (why? do't ask me). They claim to have shipped them out (as of the 16th) but I have as yet not gotten them. Santa Clarita is 20 miles from here.....4 days so far waiting for it to get here from 20 miles away.....

This was an order I placed to Heavens Gifts on 11/29. Still waiting for the package. I never had a package go through customs until this one
