That's taken a load off my mind, I've been wanting to place a moderate order for some bling from outside the EU, but this thread has made me reluctant to part with my cash.

Nice to hear Customs being reasonable after the car-crushing scare stories you hear about them at the continental ferry ports

Just remember that you can still get hit with extra costs on top of the goods

Well thats 1-0 to us e-smokers as my parcel has been released with no extra charge due to them making a mistake

Must also add the process of dealing with customs was good and they stated that said product should not be a problem in future.

Howdy Leaford,

I'm thinking about making a largeish order for resale in the U.S. from e-cig-portal, so if I keep the order under $800 or so, there shouldn't be any issues with customs holding the package or whatnot? I've ordered things from overseas before, but have never had anything stopped, I've also never ordered this much...

Resale is something different, and I would suggest getting a lawyer or checking with customs yourself. I was talking about personal use.
