Now that's a scary thought, not sure I'd survive it.Practically I agree with this, but being that I am a regular mech user as well I like knowing that my batteries are safely compatible with anything in my arsenal.
However, I do wonder how often I would be even removing the battery (sans total failure or major sag) from my clone if at all, so maybe picking up a couple higher mah batteries at the expense of amperage headroom isnt a bad choice for me.
Hell, maybe I wont even use my mechs much at all anymore?

I rather suspect you'll find both are off.
I've yet to see a $20 ohm reader that is as accurate as a $120 professional multimeter.
The $20 one I got at Harbor Freight that I keep in my car with my emergency tools is within +/- .03ohms of my $500+ Fluke 289 across the range of most vape gear (0.3-3.0 ohms). That's definitely close enough for government work at that price differential. I find that the AA battery powered ohm checker/build deck boxes are usually at least 2-3x that far off.
So my unit is still showing its in rochester ny. hasn't moved since thursday morning. Supposed to be in C'bus by now.

Just got my clone in from wetvapes! Loving it! did a quick review (uploading now) will post link.. Very happy with it! works great.. If this holds up i'm going to sell all of my mech mods.. Have to admit I wasnt expecting this quality from a $70 30 watt device.. doesn't even feel cheap.. Very much worth the month wait..

Mine departed rochester NY this morning around 7 am. So unfortunately wont be here till tuesday :/
Ok here is deal. Ive had 10 min to play around so far. Got to work in a bit' but at 20 watts on .66 igo it displayed 3.5 volts. the multimeter at the post screws gave 3.56 volts. So that is a bit off from the theoretical values, but the display is acurately representing the real voltage flow.
More to cone over night/morning.
