Is it possible that there are 2 sleep modes? If I push the button shortly after the screen blanks, it fires without the extra button press. However, I noticed that the extra press was required after having not touched it for over an hour.
Can anyone else confirm this?

Many LiPos are designed for applications that require far more power than any sub-Ωing requires, like flying high end RC planes and helicopters.
The LiPos I've chosen for my mod are 1200mah 25C. I will have 2 in parallel which will give me 2400mah and 50C which equates to 4x more amperage than a Sony VTC5 could give.
Or would you accuse Hana and Vaporshark of having incompetent engineers?
Lol. I had actually forgotten about the vapor shark. I was only referring to the MVP setup. There's a reason they won't go low.
Add the Opus D to the list...and the Darwin I've used for 3 years has 2 lipo's in it..

The reason, if it's at all attributable to the battery, is not that it's using a LiPo, but that it's using a LiPo that isn't fit pushing more amperage. The LiPo in your phone is not the same LiPo used in higher end vaping setups.
Vapor Tek has also announced that they'll be receiving an order with Black, Silver, and Green. No Blue, Orange, or Red.

My only reason for waiting and not wanting the lipos in the mini on FT is because of the maH. 1200 personally isn't enough. LiPo or not. I could understand wanting it for the size, and by all means I think it would be great. But for a 4-6ml/day vaper, 1200 just doesn't cut it.
Not yet. My payment went through at 4:50, and I received an email from them saying that they have received my payment like 5 minutes later. Let's keep eachother posted with tracking info. Kay from one of the stores called me less than a minute ago and told me that they just got a shipment of 300 of them, all silver and black and asked if i wanted to switch to black. I decided to just stick with silver.

Yep for a sub-ohm vaper the 1200 mah setup won't last too long before needing charged.... I vape 4 to 6 mil (average) on a 1200 mah lipo with 3.0 ohm tanks and get 8 to 10 hours before charging ( I charge before it goes to cutoff ). I wanted small mods with my stlye of vaping 1200 mah lipo's are just right....That's what's great about vaping...everybody finds their "happy place" with gear, juice, batteries, etc. One size does not fit all....
From everything I've seen the regular Hana V3 full skins should fit these without issue. The whole separate "Clone" sized skins were because the measurements originally given were different from a real Hana, and some were showing a V2 style door that cut across the well in the top. Size wise the dimensions of the Cloupor clones are 1:1.
Some people will use lipos , yes. A vct4 or 5 is designed to not erupt in flames. Can it? Definitely. As far as rc uses, I've seen them erupt also. They may not have the same specs as what's in your phone but they are the same chemistry. Remember the iPhone fires?
I gave my opinion about that because battery fire was a concern of the OP. When a lipo fails there's a larger likelihood of it bursting into fire than a IMR. That's why I said that not because they cannot preform. Even with all the preaching of battery safety, I can't count the amount of people who are ignorant to battery safety. An IMR I'd safer in terms of failure than your standard li-ion, hands down.

Ok so I got home to mess around with my black one from Wetvapes. I have been comparing performance with my vaporshark. Appears to be spot on! volts and resistance match. Vape seems the same as well.
The back does not fit flush on the top ,but its minor. My only 2 complaints the screen brightness in resting mode is way too bright! Its the same brightness as when firing a real DNA. So I will be running it in stealth mode more often. 2nd, is having to fire it twice to fire coming out of sleep.

1200mah is pretty low for anyone who vapes on the regular.
But if you want small, the first thing you have to sacrifice is battery power. It's the nature of the beast.
I like small for on the go, and I'd love to have a Hana mini. I'm just not sure that I trust a Chinese clone manufacturer to put in an adequate LiPo for the job. If I'm after a MOD with a LiPo, I'm either sourcing the batteries myself to put in my own box, I'm buying American, or at least buying from a Chinese company that makes its own original products like Innokin.
