Hey Retird, while I do agree with you 100% on all your points, the one thing that remains here is that HANA seems to have "Singled Out" ILLVAPES......as we have seen there are other Vendor which advertised and sold Logo Units and are still doing so....thus my question again "Why on ILLVAPES"........I guess maybe we will never have the answer but as long as we continue to see other US vendors advertising and selling LOGO units it will continue to look to me as a WITCHHUNT!!!!

I guess your question would be better asked directly to Hana...or to those representing them....

First let me apologize for the little boy comment. As I stated in another reply that was poor form and I shouldn't have said it.

I will admit that I have a Hana mod. Heck I even posted a picture of it the other day. Do I have a vested interest in Hana sure. However I don't have or plan on owning a V3Tronix flip and agree with them going after clone makers or resellers for TM infringement as well. Although I will say there pissing and moaning on their FB page and going after an individual running a group buy is pretty sad.

Hey Kilt No harm No foul, is all good......is just a good debate. I honestly agree with you on the issue of Hana protecting their name I disagree with anyone "Riding someone elses Coattails" my only issue with Hana is "Why only Illvapes" there are other US Vendors who did and continue to promote and sell Logo units.......that is really my only issue, if they "really" wanted to protect their TM, they would/should be going after "ALL" the Vendors using it. Just my humble Opinion

I would assume that they are trying to send a message to other resellers without having to sue each and everyone of them and themselves out of business. That would be what I would do. I would start with a larger company so that if I won in court I could recoup my costs in doing so and set a precedent for taking other people to court at a much lower cost or just to prove to them that they would lose in a court room. It could also be that the other people who have been sued have not come forward. I didn't do a lot of digging but I was only able to find one business (that is US based) that was still offering a logo'ed mod.

update from elev8:

**UPDATE 6/2/14 @ 11:46AM EST: It has been an awesome week. We have literally been shipping these Cana Modz clones everyday and testing them during the night time. The feed back from everyone is great and truly appreciated! Tomorrow more shipments are scheduled to come in and the shipping process will continue to progress as the week goes by! Thank you so much everyone for being such great customers and constantly keeping us in check! We do apologize for how long some colors may take to ship, it really comes down to cloupor on how many colors they can ship out to us. Have a great night everyone!

someone, I think about a week ago, posted this link:
http://www.evolvapor.com/datasheet/dna30.pdf

on page three it says this:Auto power down
The screen will be at full brightness while firing. After 15 seconds with no button presses, the screen will dim. 2 minutes after the last button press, the screen will fade out and the device will go to sleep mode. Pressing any button will turn the device and display back on.

would this account for the mysterious extra button push?...one to wake, one to fire....and are the legit DNA30 not behaving according to spec if you DON'T have to press twice?

the true DNA30's do not require the "two button push" .... the dimming process of the true dna is as described. With the true dna when you push the fire button (while sleeping) it momentarily displays the Evolv DNA screen while firing and then displays the regular screen, thus two button pushes are not required.....

hope I adequately answered your question.... and yes, the true DNA is behaving according to specs....and the clone may be operating according to spec's also but I really don't know as a detailed spec sheet of the clone has not surfaced yet...

With my 0.9Ω Taifun GT and due to the Cana reading it as 0.8 and also being off a couple of tenths of a volt I set the Cana to 23.6 watts to get 20 watts. Off by quite a bit but still I think I can live with that as long as it vapes steady though the batteries usable charge.
I'm finally going to use one of them.
One thing that does bother me is how fast it uses the battery when off and just sitting there.(I am going by the battery gauge, haven't measured it though)

Real Hana v3 #1237 w/TOBH #2167 & custom clear cap w/VaporSkinz clear carbon wrap

IllVapes KHana clone w/Fogger v4 in black PVD

Both identical in size as far as I can tell by tape measure.

My real Hana if in sleep mode I just hold the fire button down and after a second it both wakes and fires. My KHana clone requires one press to activate and one press to fire.

Talked to illvapes on the phone yesterday. They say they've shipped up to order 1000 now, and my order (several hundred later) should be shipped by Thursday at the latest. It's good to get updates from them, even though I had to call and get it rather than them putting it up on the site or Facebook. It's even better to see people finally receiving their illvapes clones. Hopefully the folks who have been complaining about not getting refunds will post when they receive them, that would put my mind even more at ease.

Side note: I called one of my local B&M's to see if they had any in yet. They do, 120 for the no logo...and 150 for the logo. I couldn't believe it. Basically anyone in the future buying a second hand hana should just assume it's a clone.

Does everyone's back cover fit FLUSH? The one on mine is sitting ever so slightly away from the buttons side about 1/64, without the screws it fits perfectly but once I tighten the screws (which are horrible) it shifts over to the side.......barely noticeable except for someone like me with OCD......aaaaaagh....
