Elev8 Update

Elev8 vape would like to remind everyone to treat their cana modz with care. Remember that these clones are not mechanicals and can not chain vape at sub ohm. If you are sub ohming, please let the cana take a break and cool down. So far the feedback has been great for these clones. Please follow the google doc for updates on which order number we are up to for each color. Thank you all once again for the continued support!

I'm happy to hear that some people have people they're trying to impress. :)

No one I know knows what vaping is, what a Hana Modz or a Provari or anything else vape-related. I guess I need better, uh, different friends.

That's a pretty blanket statement maybe I can help you out.

1. When people are out in public they want other people to think they spent the $250 on a real hana and not $70 on a clone.
2.ill vapes were telling everybody that the clones with logo were better quality than the ones without.
3. Some people may actually like the logo.

That being said the people trying to pass the clones off as real Hana's sicken me and I hope they don't make a dime.

I don't know what you need I was just trying to help you comprehend why a person might want a hana logo on there clone.

Ok guys. I just created a new thread for the canas technical testing. That way we can work as a team to collect data and maybe pinpoint some of our issues. I ask that if you post there, is it sonething that you have tested thouroughly on your unit. That way it will be easy to navigate and get answers. Feel free to post what function you have tested along with how many times the test was carried out.

Just leave the questions or anything non technical to this thread :)

But two-click firing is a dealbreaker for me.
YGTBSM! So why the rest of the questions then? (rhetorical question)

I am somewhat confused by the posts on the clicks and I hope someone can clarify. If I understand correctly, the clones will fire with one click as long as the display is lit (2 min?).

But when the display goes dark, it needs a click to activate the screen and a second click to actually fire?
Not normally, more often than not it will wake from sleep mode and fire with one click and hold - but it might require a second click to fire. [

That's crazy and that kills it for me.
Not crazy that's how it seems to work and again YGTBSM

But then I hear people say they don't see that behavior at all or that it takes a real long time for the double-click phenomenon to manifest itself. How long is that? Is this stuff reproducible and if so, can the mod be used so a double-click is not required?
It could be a couple of days to two weeks. If it was reproducible there probably would not be scores of post in this thread about this.

Finally, is this double-click behavior also present in Evolv DNAs? What about the HCigar mods? If so, those are also out in my book. I'm just confused as to what to expect if and when I get one of these.
No, I don't know, YGTBSM, Don't be confused, if it doesn't wake and fire from sleep mode on the first click, press the button again.

YGTBSM = You got to be ####### me, or the more correct REALLY! LOL

When I do the math. According to my vaporshark that I had, the voltage didnt match the wattage according to ohms law. It was putting out more volts than what the watts showed.

.71 Ω @ 30 watts (reads .7 Ω on both devices), calculated 4.615 v
DNA 30 - Reads 4.9 v, actual 4.52 v
CNA 30 - Reads 4.4 v, actual 4.17 v

I posted several other examples before. Neither one is completely accurate, but both are very useable.
