Assuming the pictures out there are accurate, there seems to be a difference in the box construction used by different manufacturers.

From what ive seen the models made by Cloupor (such as the 101vape pre-order im in) appear to not have the seam and use a design comparable to the true Hana v3 box. It appears others chose to instead clone the Hana V2 box (i believe) which had the seam at the top.

This gives a pretty good look at where the seam is with the back of the box removed (ie notice the circle is not complete).

Didn't realize the back cover was detached! Anyway, it's no big deal for me personally. I'm using a nautilus and it hasn't leaked on me yet.

Indeed. Didn't mean to throw a monkey wrench in this v3 thread. I'm in for 2 v3's from 101 vape and have seen the pics of v3 clones - no seams.

Just stumbled upon the video and pics and wanted to share, even though these hotcig clones are hana v1 dna 20 clones - It gives an insight to what we can expect from the v3's.

TLDR: SSVapes can still suck my big toe.

I emailed ILL regarding my logo unit. They said they will be shipping early may to us.. They are still playing the PC card. Which I don't blame them. They are probobally wondering about these mystery devices as well. GO KINGS! sorry...

the outside can look like whatever, im gonna wrap it anyway. the real importance in these clones that were getting is whats on the inside, that may not be the exact unit were getting but do you think thats the same chip were getting? they say its a DNA 30 chip clone and its going up for sale the same time were getting ours, whoever has a authentic dna 30 or know about chips do chime in

Yeah i noticed the v3 was one without the seam but thats the original i have held one before and ive held a dz mod, the dz is by far the best hand built by one guy it takes a while i waoted for 9 weels for mine but hey its cheaper then a hana modz by 80 bucks and hand built, also so if this clone 30 chip comes out im gonna make my own dz in a way.

I know a ecig mod company pretty good. They make DNA 30 mod but have a real problem getting the DNA 30 chips. Once I do my hana clone reviews one going to be sent to them so they can check it out and take it make me a mod using the clone chips. They are in talks with a company that making them. So maybe a good high end mod coming soon using these chips

I am looking forward to your review of the "clone".... I hope you include a complete and detailed set of tests that compare the DNA and the "clone" side-by-side so there will be no question as to whether the clone is a 1:1 identical match to the DNA in all areas of functionality. At this point I have found nobody that can even verify the clone chip has been tested against the DNA, not even those vendors who are selling the pre-order mods discussed here.... Those vendors have not even had a unit to test thus the jury is still out....hope you are not disappointed when they arrive....

I'm not sure I expect that clone chip to be perfectly 1:1, what I would like to expect is a decent chip that gives somewhat of a constant signal, doesn't require me to bump wattage up as battery goes down and doesn't rattlesnake (like the vamo/zmax/other 33.3mhz chip based mods). If it does all that for the low price, I'll be happy. I have a DIY DNA20 mod that I'll be able to compare it with so I'll cross my fingers in the meantime.

China is pretty good at building chip sets. My expectations are pretty high after seeing how amazing the SX chips perform.
