Well, look what happened with the Hana clones. When they were first announced, they were around $110-$120. Now look at the prices.
I am def counting on prices dropping for a zna style. I am sure we will see more companies producing dna style chip devices which should further drive down prices.

I got a nano kit and hybrid adapter off fasttech for like under $5. Both work great but I drilled out a hold in the hybrid adapter after it got semi stuck once. Had to take my nemesis apart and undo it from the bottom. Kinda made me worry but it works well just not for constant switching. I need to test voltage drop vs copper and ss top caps for my nemmy clones.

Why the VTC5? There are many batteries that are even more capable. The new Efest 35A batteries give 5A of headroom over the VTC5 with only a 100mah drop in capacity.

I have the purple wrest 30amp 2100 mah, the purple 35amp 2500, Sony vtc5 30amp 2600 mah. With the DNA IIRC it only can output around 10amp, so a 15-20 amp battery would give plenty of overhead. The vtc5 is supposed to have more mah then the wrest by its advertised amount. Now I hear Sony has been more accurate and efest tends to overstate there mah. I have yet to see tests myself but I haved used them both and honestly it's hard to tell. My mnke 26650 outlasted them both lol. I just got the seven 22 I got 2 mnkes and they lasted me one first charge almost 2 days at 15 watts. in my experience it takes a couple charges to get full potential out of the mah on a battery... Damn ranted...

About 14 days ago I was on ebay shopping for Fogger v4, and I did noticed Illvapes was selling the "Logo version." @ $109 There was only a red unit available at the specific moment. If I have to take a wild guess, they are selling the units that were canceled from their main shop and that seems like a logical explanation to me.

I'm not defending Illvapes by any means, as this will my first purchased with them. I view Illvapes as a legitimate vendor, why would they put them in a bad predicament is beyond comprehension. As for the $40 differences in price, I select the Logo version for the LiPo and 18650's housing if you will; the printed logo is a minor factor to me.

IIRC they have said in a email that they are the same cept the logo and I have not seen a Lipo in any cloupor Alibaba sell or one anywhere else from them that is any different the the other.

(I'm cross posting this from the GI2 clone thread)

Check vapor Joes again...Cloupor has pulled all their links for the GI2....

and there is a later update on the ZNA clone which quotes Zen as saying those are authentic ZNA parts in the photos and that the group buy for them is a sham.

Neither of your links work.

I don't believe Zen. He wants us to believe nobody can replicate his work. I call BS.

Maybe he's right, but I tend to believe that if they're cloning the Hana, the ZNA won't be far behind.

Based on the reviews I've seen of the ZNA I'm not sure if someone would want to clone it really. It has a number of cons about it even though it does have a DNA 30 chip the rest isn't up to the price now in my opinion.

The one thing that really stands out to me,there is no reverse polarity protection on the DNA 30 chip. For as expensive as it is. From what I read. Although the ZNA says it has a delrin spacer to prevent accidental battery reversal.

Exactly the "dna" has a 12 amp limit. We dont know if the hana clone has a 12 amp limit. So pick your poison between 30 watts by your face or 100, yes i ordered one also but as a back up and having a real dna now i feel safer knowing what not to do especially since i feel like I know what im doing now. So another way to think of this is the 100 plus watt chip is made in the Phillipines, which makes what kind of electronic devices? And the clone chip will be made by china which makes almost every single electronic device you can touch. So thats all i have to say.

Why would a 12A limit matter? At 30W (the highest setting on the Hana clone), the max amperage one could attain with a .3Ω atomizer (which doesn't fire reliably on a DNA30 regardless of what the specs say) is 10A. In order to reach 12A, you would need to fire that coil at 43.2W.

I really hope you're planning on switching to a no logo. If I were them, I would be trying to throw in a couple vtc5's, and maybe some juice to sweeten the deal and avoid cancelations. They couldn't have paid too much more, if any for the logo'd ones.

Yeah.

$40 for a logo that most of us probably don't want seem ridiculous. It seems that all other specs are exactly the same.
